  1. Simply beautiful! Thanks for sharing Rodney. Jerry
  2. My kids got me the Sili brush kit found on amazon. It comes with 3 different size brushes and a little container to put the glue in. If I renenber correctly the cost is under $20.00. For me well worth it. I usually take off the lid and pour a little into the conainer. Just hard to control pouring a little glue for the bottle. It is made with sliicone and once dry the glue can be peeled off. The glue will stay fresh in the small container for a period of time, don't rememter how long. Since I do very little gluing, this method works best for me. Allows me to get into tight spots and really control with I put the glue. Since I do use very little glue a small bottle lasts me a long time. Usually, the glue goes bad before I use it up. I usually use TitebondII and Weld-Bond glues. Hope this helps you out. I like the idea of using an old mustard container. Jerry

  6. Rodney, your cutting and presentation are fantastic. It's your comments that I am primarily responding to. Takes me back to a time when my wife and I were just starting our life together. One week after marriage I reported for active-duty training as a navigator in the Air Force. We were all young and many of us newlyweds. I have never forgotten one of my fellow students never called his wife "My Wife" but referred to her as "The Wife". Thanks for showing your work and bringing back a very fond memory. Jerry

  15. WOW Frank. They all look great. Simple beauty. The frames really add to the display. These should be hanging in a art museum. If there is one you don't like let me know, I will take it off your hands. Jerry
  16. I knew who it was going to be even before I looked. One of my favorites too. Jerry
  17. Bob, that was my big question, "How am I going to drill that hole?". I thought if I wait until the end I'm not going to be able to get the hole in the right position. I was drilling the holes for the axels and exhaust pipes before I start cutting the answer came to me. Drill the hole for the body before I start cutting. It worked. WALLA!! I was thinking about making it without the windshield, but then I thought how am I going to keep the bugs out of my eyes.
  18. How did you know that is me behind the wheel. Kinda cute, huh.
  19. WOW Joel, that is very nice and I might add very unique. I really like it. Jerry
  20. I started getting interested in cars when I was about 13. For a couple of years I really enjoyed Hot Rod magazine. When I got my first car at 17 I wanted a hot rod, but dad so no way. He did, however, but me really nice 1950 Ford. Drove that car for 7 years. Now, at 84, I got my first hot rod even if I did have to build it my self. This is cut out of Oak and Walnut. I started cutting using a Pegas #7 MGT blade. The cutting was tough, so I tried a Pegas #9 blade. Man, what a difference. First time I used any #9 blade for cutting. Hope you enjoy my first hot rod. Stained with MinWax Ipswich Pine, 3 coats of Deft clear gloss wood finish.
