    Welcome back and awesome horse!
  7. Really nice work. I love the horse one. Great cutting on the Mother's day lettering
  8. Paul, great to see the final product after seeing it on your saw the other day. It turned out wonderful!
  9. Excellent! I was so lucky to have seen that in person
  10. Alex, which one would you say is the simplest to cut?
  11. Very nice...Great idea using the resin!
  12. Really nice idea! I am sure they will really love it!
  13. I love your hamburgers! Always well done ...Let me know where you get your punch when you find a good one....mc
  14. Yes, it was great fun and the hamburger was much less burnt! ....Was a special time. Yes, and having Dick @heppnerguy there would have been even more special. Tell Patti thank you.... Do let me know if you get a better knob for your Hawk. And I did check my clamp area and it is rock solid...no weird movement like yours was doing. The arm pops up easily as well....again thanks for a great time!
  15. It is 72 degrees here and bright sunshine in the great North West.
  16. Great video, I knew you did that so it was so fun to see you in action!
  17. Don, @don in brooklin on I read that you already adhere the pattern to the BB 1/4" ply. Do you also have all the holes pre drilled as well? When you say "My practice pattern is attached. I first explain cutting straight lines and then cut in half." I am not sure what you mean. Thank you again for these great ideas. MC
  18. Thanks Denny, I will look for that book and see if it will work for this class....thanks again!
  19. That is super funny plus great work on cutting that font!
  20. Those are great suggestions. I at least have time (I won't be teaching until August) I will be sure to address all those that you mentioned and of course the village. My Boss is pretty laid back so if we don't have an item in our store, he is cool on letting folks know where else they might be able to find them. By the way we do get folks from your area as well as Walla Walla. I think it will be great fun to have more scrollers coming to the store! Anytime I run into someone who is a scrollsaw-er they are so excited when they find out that I am as well.
  21. Dick, Thanks so very much! Coming from you, that is quite the compliment! I did give it to them yesterday and now they will put it right by their front door. They really did like it. Thanks so much!
  22. Thanks Bill, So if you top feed do you still need the 2x4 block? You are correct about not doing any beveled cuts. I will talk about those since I use my EX 21 for that purpose but for this class it will be all flat cutting. I think I may have the wood prepped as you said because in order for them to use any of our other tools like the drill press, our store requires them to take a Safety class and I think I may be able to have them skip that class if all they will be using is the scroll saw. I can teach about safety just for that class. Thanks again!
  23. Don @don in brooklin on,Wow! this is super helpful...I was hoping there was someone who had experience teaching....Let me look at all of this and digest it and I will get back to you with clarifying questions. Thanks again
