    I am in line with Kevin @kmmcrafts but I do love the color of all the Walnut woods (native and exotics) and I enjoy cutting it. I really do not like cutting purple heart though.

    My favorite from this past year was my daughter's music box that I gave her for graduation. The mechanical musical movement I used came out of an old tin box that she had as a child so I designed a piano jewelry box since she loved playing the piano as a child and now as an adult. 20240605_140234.mp4

    Paul, that is amazing! What type of wood did you use to cut this (and thickness). If it was me, I wouldn't add any color except maybe shellac or the normal amber from some of the oil finishes. Nice work!

    That looks like it has quite a few ornament and Christmas ideas. Where did you find it?

    I really like it. I think because the background is green, a bit of red on the bow would be nice. I do like the yellow flame....with out it, I maybe would have missed it. Really nicely done!
