  1. Oh so exciting! Definitely something to brag about. Can't wait to see it all put together.
  2. Charlie, You are amazing, how you can take these picture of people and make such beautiful art...you do fantastic work!
  3. Wow! Both are wonderful but I too Love the black and white one!
  4. Well done! The horses reminds me of a painting "ghost riders in the sky" by Leno Prestini
  5. Wow, I scroll so slow .... at about the slowest one can possibly scroll, so I have never had an issue....I don't even know if there is a sweet spot or not a sweet spot on my Excalibur since I drive it at about 10 miles per hour (so to speak) no matter if I am in a hurry or not!
  6. Nice work Denny, I especially like the babies!
  7. Looks really nice so far. I like how you inter-locked the hearts
  8. Cool! great idea.
  9. NIce work! I really like your wood selection on the whale.
  10. You are one busy guy....Very nice!
  11. Rodney, Wow! I love it. Great cutting especially the horse's tack. That looks especially difficult. Great color too!
  12. Awww! He is too cute and he seems to love his new rattle! Great idea.

    Really looks great! well done.
  14. Yes, wonderful cutting. It made me sad too.
  15. Wow! I love how you have depth to the picture. Very well done! How do you turn out pictures so fast anyway? Takes me forever.
  16. Barb, those are just too cute, They remind me of Gumby. Sure would be cute green. Maybe green stain or die? I am not sure how you made them but they are a wonderful project. Do you have to mount them on something heavy to keep them from falling over, like a flat rock or a small square of granite?
  17. Marg, thank you so much....my biggest problem is I am too much of a perfectionist so I am constantly redoing things which of course takes a lot longer...but I do really like this type of wood art. thanks again!
  18. As always, excellent work!
  19. Really nice cutting Denny!
  20. Yes, I totally have given up on those spiral blades....Not for me. I use the 2/0 most of the time for my stuff and it works so much better. Plus those spiral blades have a mind of their own...at least for me...reminds me of sewing velvet on the sewing machine....kind of takes off where you don't want to go...I just hate when I sew a sleeve shut!
  21. Paul, so looking forward to seeing your Hegner!...oh, and you too
  22. Danny, Thank you for your kind words....Regarding Dave's creative way of doing things, I used the inlay tutorial that Dave posted in the resource section (I think he has made some changes to this technique).: And below is a link to how he did the "embossing" of wood designs (lift a tree out of the wood) Be sure to read the entire thread. I needed to practice a few times before I got it....
  23. Charlie, thanks so very much! I appreciate your support and you really motivate me to do better. I am still very slow...I think I have done two pictures to your 15 or more! Someday I may get quicker. Now, as you well know, life keeps getting in the way of our scrolling.... Alas, I promised my husband that I would make mirrored medicine cabinets for our bathroom so I will have to take a pause on my scroll sawing for a bit. Maybe I will try to do a little scrolling in the evening.
  24. Dave, as always, I couldn't have done this without your great feedback and teaching on this site. You so inspire me!
