  1. Danny, those are absolutely beautiful! Wonderful color choice!
  2. Nice work. I especially love the campfire
  3. The Papillions are beautiful but Hershey is adorable! You gotta love him!
  4. Love your story about Hershey....You need to post a picture of him if you have one available....gotta see that one. I did agility with my full size Aussie and if I were to get another dog I would consider a Papillon, because they are great agility dogs, smart and super fast, but also very nice little dogs.
  5. Bob, I think they are both beautiful and delicate. It looks like on this one you had quite a few more tight corners to do compared to the previous one...wonderful work!
  6. Very nice work...that is amazing that the facility you will be at has a border collie owner. I do really like those doggies...super smart and fast!
  7. Very nice! I love seeing your work it always inspires me.
  8. That is really nice! I really like your choice of woods! Makes me want to go camping 🏕
  9. I am so sorry to hear that your first one couldn't be salvaged. I have trouble with blinking...so I feel your pain. However, your last ones are beautiful!
  10. Yes, I see him...even without a beer!
  11. I love how you used the woodgrain to create such a beautiful yet simple piece of art! Well done!

    Really nice! Love the doggies!
  13. I just love the groovy gnome! So cool!
  14. Rolf, thanks so much. That is really kind of you as there are so many wonderful pieces presented by very talented folks on SSV. Thanks again!
  15. Marg, thank you so much. I have learned so much from being part of the SSV.... your work and many others on here have truely inspired me. Thank you again!
  16. Pete. That is really nice of you....I am really glad you like it. I do love blue ribbons
  17. RJ, thank you. I have never heard of craftswomanship...kind of like the sound of it...even though it is a mouthful....thanks again
  18. Welcome to the village from Washington State. I too use the scroll saw with carving. I am learning both pretty much at the same time. I have learned so much from the folks here. . Looking forward to seeing some of your work.
  19. Those are wonderful! That looks like a lot of work! Washington looks great!
  20. Dick, thank you! That is an interesting point, I am unsure what I am going to do with this. I just had it bugging me in my brain to make it.... and with Dick @heppnerguy and Paul's @Scrappile help with the logistics of how to make it all come together (from my drawing), and then later bouncing ideas off of @Charlie E for the background, I was able to complete it....So, I feel it was a group effort. I am certain it wouldn't be as nice without all of their help. I am thinking of entering it in the Spokane Interstate Fair for Judging. I would also like to make another one like it except with a nighttime theme. Thanks again.
  21. Mark, Thanks so very much! I am happy you like it. My type of scroll sawing is pretty easy, I just kind of make it up while I am sawing so if I go "outside the lines" no one knows. Plus, I could never do hats, figure out bobble heads or do other beautiful work that you do!
  22. Ron, thank you so very much. As always, a compliment like that coming from you is very encouraging to me. Thanks again!
  23. Charlie, Thank you for noticing!
  24. Oh, I am so happy Patti liked it. It was so nice meeting her when I was over there. Please tell her 'Hi' for me!
  25. Dave, coming from the artist that you are, that is quite the compliment. Oh, and yes, I painted it yesterday...I guess I better add that bit to my post
