  1. Matt and Kevin are right. Not of any value. I took issues from 1965 - 1970's to a flea market and could not give them away. Salvation Army, Goodwill, used book stores wered not interested, even for free. Try Craigs List with a " Best Offer " tag. Maybe someone will offer to take them off your hands. Larry
  2. OK! Stop yelling at me. I'll wear a dust mask. Also, I want to install a couple of Berry's dust fans. Just hope my outlets will take the extra load. If not, then a new wire from the breaker box. Larry
  3. I have a ceiling mounted fan. A wood chip collector for planer. A broom and dust pan. No mask, cough, cough. I do like Berry's fan with furnace filter. I will try that especially with my table saw. Larry
  4. Matt, Gee sounds interesting. Never had a thought to do that. I need an explanation as to why that makes a difference and why you even thought to do that. My first saw was a Dremel and I did not have that problem As I see it, you lose teeth to cut with. When I use a new blade, I clamp it so a minimal amount is showing at the top. After I cut for a while, I move the blade up so that I have a few more new teeth for cutting. I think I get more use out of the blade this way. So please clue me in. Thanks Larry
  5. That is so unique. Beautiful work. I almost feel like I could turn the pages. Larry
  6. Nice !!!! No way you can abuse that chopping block.
  7. Kevin, Are you using those coffee grounds 'twice'? J-U-S-T Kidding. I've put fresh on old to stretch my coffee. And Sander, what is your morning drink?
  8. As Dan said: 'That came out great. What is your new saw?' Don't tell me it's a 15 inch hand jig saw. (:>)))))))) Just joking...sorry about that. I know it's a Dewalt DW 788. Larry
  9. Welcome ! Scroll Saw Village lives through its members. Each day there is something new, patterns, fretwork, intarsia, other wood work and more. I think you will enjoy each visit, there is much to see. Larry

  13. Very, very good. Yes the design is nice, the work is great. It has a beautiful finish. Now the question is: " Is this a water dish for your cat? " (:>))) Larry
  14. Very nicely done. You played my 'Heart Strings' with that. That is a loving gift to give. God Bless You and Merry Christmas. Tell Christine I said, 'Merry Christmas' to her with a hug! Larry
  15. Oh, very nice.
  16. I'm sure you're pleased with that hat. Ya did good pardner.
  17. Yea and to repeat what Clayton said, " Me to. " More than once but the solution was not always the same. * Once was caused by using too small of a blade. * another cause is not having the tiers firmly joined together and one or more go wandering. Larry
  18. Scroll saw addiction 101, there is no treatment or rehabilitation. No cure or recovery from scrolling. Permanent permeation of sawdust and wood 'aroma' are two of the signs of the wont. Phil, you have now entered the arena of scroll saw 'enablers'. Your bronzing experience could become an asset and your router will be a useful tool. Welcome on board. Larry
  19. I'd buy one...if I had the $ I could use another saw.... well, I would like another saw.
  20. A friend gave me a variety of wood scraps and also two very unusual pieces. One is an outer slab of a Sumack ( bush or tree ). This Sumack wood measures 40" long and 10" at the wide part. The stump measured about 22 inches at the base. The other is Walnut where the grain looks like a flame. Flame Walnut. Larry
  21. That's a lot of Maple. Resaw it to 1" and...and you'll have twice the wood...(:>))))lol)))))) Larry
  22. Whew, Over my head. Sorry Kevin Larry
  23. hEY, YOU DID GOOD.
  24. Hi Darcy, I'm kinda new and didn't know you were missing but now I'm looking forward to your un-successful attempt to making us sick of you. May the Lord bless you this Christmas. May the Lord get you back in the shop before spring. Larry
