    I bought a little kids tent. i put it on a table outside and wear my mask and it works great. I put weights in the corners if its windy.

    I m a spray glue guy all the way. No tape or other stuff, no time, money or patience for that stuff. Just a super duper light coat of spray glue on the pattern. Then you have to let it sit for at least 20 minutes. srs. It wil be barely tacky. Put it on the wood. and cut. Will come off when you are done and stay in place for cutting. Takes some fiddling with to figure it out but once you do you will never go back,

    I want to do a sort of bible project that will call for only staining certain areas of the background pice. Lots of tiny bubbles and such will be left unstainded. My question is has anyone used that masking liquid stuff for this type of thing? no possible way to take it off. Was hoping for something i could just brush on. Any tips would be great.

    have a pop up type table like that I use for drawing and its very handy sometimes. That one you will need to put some sort of backer on so keep that in mind, of course it will have to be very smooth too otherwise you will get all sorts of squiglies when you try to draw. Just put a piece of paper on what you think is a smooth piece of wood now and see the hassle it can be,. \ Got mine at hobby lobby with a 40% off coupon for installing the app. cost less than 20 and its about 2-3 feet wide.

    I think it looks great, just leave it alone. if you dont like something about the finish, just make a frame for it. It acts as a sort of optical illusion in that it gives the eye more to focus on thus evening everything out. srs

    Got into ellipses here recently and if you have done these before you will know that there really are no tools to draw the things like there is a compass for circles. Sure, you can draw one of you have an engineering degree and two compasses, a slide rule and some other stuff but man its confusing. I am just relegating myself to using one of those green plastic things, taking a pic of it, emailing it to myself then fiddling with it, There really should just be a $20 tool for this.

    I have wanted to incorporate some quilling into my scrolling for a while. Great motivator!! Lovely work!!

    I felt like I used that bit today. Made a setup for a speed bad. Got everything assembled, looks great, oh wait. upside down. Took it all apart, flipped it over and did it all again, turned out nice but took twice the time,. Had I had this drill bit, could have just drilled into my head when i started to save some time, lol

    I use a jewelers twist drill, the screw type. I trim the length of the blade so it barely goes all the way through the wood. Otherwise they will snap under their own weight just about. My go to bit is a #72 so its pretty tiny.

    The trick is to use a very light spritz of glue and let it site for at least 15-20 minutes. It will be hardly tacky at all but will stay in place. Also peels right off when done. You have to play with it to get it right but once you do you it will have been worth the effort.

    I use that size blade on 1/8" bb only, any larger and it breaks or just is too hard to control. Also try going slow. That way the blade wont heat up as much.
