  4. Framing is the one thing that drives me nuts. well, not the one thing but a major thing.
  5. Here is a bouquet I did. Its from Bernard Buffet painting.
  6. When I glue tiny areas I use clear glue. I paint it on with a tiny paint brush. For the bigger area I use wood glue with a bigger paint brush.
  7. Sounds like a tough day at the saw. hate t when that happens. I love hiking myself and do quite well hungover. The added carbs or something always seem to help. just sayin.
  8. the Steve Good award for scroll saw heroism!! awesome.
  9. great work, love that smaller size.
  10. Wonderful piece.
  11. Lovely work.!!
  12. This one i sort of forgot about. Dug it out the other day and finished it. Its watercolors with a scrolled border and frame.
  13. awesome work!!
  14. I do not use tape so count me out, Just a thin coat pf spray glue, let it sit for at least 20 minutes and attach the sheet to the wood. Thats it.
  15. Nice. I use something similar. I put a big piece of cardboard on an old rolling microwave cart.
  16. Great job.
  17. I save the pieces I cut out. Paint them and glue them back in on a backer board.
  18. Sounds like you have been productive. good idea on that compressor. Funny talking about sweeping the floor. I do my work in my dining room. I only do scrolling so not a lot of sawdust but still its unavoidable. Yesterday I was making a chicken salad sandwich, just made a whole tupperware thing full of it. Of course, I dropped the whole turrepware thing on the shop floor face down. Seemed ok so I just scraped it all up with a spatula and will eat it again for lunch today. lol
  19. Looks like a great place for wood. I am super fortunate to have a place near me that is a cabinet makers store I call it. Guys shop there who work on ships and make custom stuff. They have 5x5 bb 1/8 for about $12 a sheet. Love that place.
  20. I have lots of potential storage for small parts but I only use the one I have always had,. Just a walmart plastic thing with two sides and a lot of little spaces for screws and what not. I use it for everything with other perfectly good storage solutions sitting right next to it empty. Just use what works for you.
  21. This is a great looking piece. No need to beat yourself up because you see slight imperfections. Every artist in history feels the same way about their work. Michelangelo, Leonardo, all of them. This is a great looking piece and its nice you learned a lot while doing it.
  22. Great info, I have a dewalt 788. Its throat hole thing is about 3/4 inch. have noticed that is where the problems arise. That unsupported area where jiggling will occur. What i do to adjust for this is I have a deck of playing cards from a casino with a hole in the middle of them. You know the type. I put that card over the hole in the table and use some clear packing tape to hold it in place. Works great,. Not sure where I got the idea but it might be a sue may trick.
  23. DiVinci wrote in mirror writing so you are in good company!!
  24. I dont have one, Cant justify the cost. They do look nice though and everyone seems to say good things about them.
  25. Thats pretty fancy!! great work.
