Travis Posted November 1, 2025 Report Posted November 1, 2025 Christmas is fast approaching! Before we know it, the holidays will be here. As scrollers, we love making personalized, handmade gifts for friends and family. So, this challenge is your chance to share what you're making for the people in your life. Hopefully, it'll also spark the perfect idea for those people on everyone's list who are notoriously hard to buy for. barb.j.enders, 18jirinka and RabidAlien 3 Quote
Popular Post ChelCass Posted November 2, 2025 Popular Post Report Posted November 2, 2025 This is the ornament I finished for my Doctor's baby. The rooster I did on 2023. The candle I did last year. Popular Post Jim McDonald Posted November 2, 2025 Popular Post Report Posted November 2, 2025 I don't know about under the tree, but on the tree is a different story. The round ornaments are for cousins and their adult children. The sleds will be personalized with paint marker for the offspring--the third generation. Hudson River Rick Posted November 8, 2025 Report Posted November 8, 2025 Dick, what a great gift for the little ones ! The cross was a very thoughtfu addition, is that your pattern? Thanks for sharing. Rick Quote
DickMira Posted November 8, 2025 Report Posted November 8, 2025 Thanks, Rick. This is inspired by a Worthington intarsia pattern. To start, I cut the outline of the bear in a jagged fashion from a two inch thick board. Then, I cut the rest of the features from 1/4" wood, shaped them and just glued them to the front of the bear. Turned out to be a very simple project. Dick Mira danny and barb.j.enders 2 Quote

Popular Post Scrappile Posted November 9, 2025 Popular Post Report Posted November 9, 2025 (edited) In lieu of Christmas Cards this year, I am making these Nativity scenes for immediate family members. I will have my wife, who writes much better than me, put a Christmas greeting on the back. I will include a plate holder with each.
