Garden Scroll Saw Challenge

Springtime is my favorite time of the year.  The birds are out, flowers are blooming, and people are spending time in their yard and garden.  This month's scroll saw challenge is about enjoying the beautiful weather and nature.  Post your garden themed projects.  This can be things like plant markers, decorative fence toppers, bird house fretwork, cute bumble bees, or whimsical garden gnomes.  If you're especially daring, add a splash of color to your project too.  Anything garden, spring, or nature is fair game!  I can't wait to see what you come up with!  Happy Spring!

Made this one for my wife, after the neighborhood hummingbirds discovered our hummingbird feeder.

These  brighten up an otherwise dull fence. 

The 3 flowers made from 1 cedar fence and the butterflies with about 2/3 of one board.

Made this one a while back for my daughter and her husband.  The flowers are red heart and yellow heart.  Grapes are purple heart.

new hummingbirds. 

my wife gave away here previous humingbirds , so her flower was just sitting there for over a year waiting. 

i played with simple intarsia 4 birds. 1 segmented stained.  Did my first flocking attempt on  (2) birds.

I totally forgot to post this when finished (almost).  The fence hubby made from picket fence posts, same for the birdhouse fronts.  The decorations on the BHF I did from wood in my shop.  Then hubby requested I cut some large flowers to decorate the fence itself, So here is a couple of those done.  I still have several more to cut out but this will give you an idea.  Patterns are all from Pinterest.  I will be doing a couple of Blue Jays and Cardinals.
