John, i deleted the second post. The gallery link on your posts is to the old gallery. While we can view it I don't think it can be added to. You will have to create a new gallery.
I have gave a few people "lesson" and the thought of insurance never crossed my mind. Just doing it if someone showed interest and wanted to learn a little instead of just jumping in.
The only blades I use are the Flying Dutchman blades FD-SR (scroll reverse tooth) from size 2/0 - 9, depending on what I'm cutting most of the time it's a # 5 or 7. I also use the new spirals but not very often. I prefer the regular flat blade.
I have tried the online brand I bought from Judy sometime back. I don't like them I prefer the flying Dutchman blades. They just didn't cut as well for me.
sounds like not everything is grouped together. I haven't done these in a while, but make sure everything has the box around it then go to Object and select group. You should be able to move it as a whole then.
lots of patience and time. I use a belt sander, oscilating spindle sander, flexible drum sander, and a dremel with various bits and small sanding drums. There is a lot of dust so you must be careful.
