  1. Pete, these pieces look amazingly nice, did you see the new ornament patterns Steve is selling? They are a complete nativity scene, I think I'll be buying a set. I have two daughters that collect nativity scenes, so this new one will be a nice one for them to own. Len
  2. Kevin, the cutting is very nice looking, but, I have to ask. Why do you use such large drill bit sizes, I'm not sure if I like them or not? Is this a normal cutting, or was it done for the look? I'm not critizising your work, it's just that I never have done anything without trying to hide the drill holes. If this is normal practice for you, how do you find they sell? Has anyone ever asked you about the drill hole sizes, or is it just me being stupid? Len
  3. Nicely done Frank, she sure was a gorgeous woman, it's a shame her life ended at such a young age. Len
  4. Nicely done Alex, this is a puzzle that Iggy could start selling. Len
  5. Jerry, that's a neat idea. Len
  6. Hello Runa, welcome to the Village. For this issue most people use spiral blades, they cut in all directions so you can cut larger items. Granted, if you saw is just to small for what you're trying to do, then there is no blade that can help you. What size is your saw capable of cutting, and what is the size of your project? Len
  7. Iggy, I've used that type of system, I found it to be to flimsy. It always seemed to be top heavy, and it always wanted to tip over. Len
  8. Gonzo, you should set it to stay in one place, if you use some blue Lock-tite on it you shouldn't have to keep adjusting it. I did this with my saw, and it only moves now when I want it to. Len
  9. Iggy, why don't you place a label on the side or end of the container, it would be better then always restacking the containers. Len
  10. I own a branding iron also, and it's perfect for larger items. For smaller items, I use a fine-tip marker. For any ornaments, all I do is sign them with my first initial L. Everything I make has some kind of identifying mark on it, usually Len, but sometimes all I can get on the item is an L. Len

    todays show

    Wat to go Ike. Len
  12. Mark, maybe it has something to do with Seyco now having their own saw to sell, they may not even be interested in selling the King saw. Just because two things are supposedly identical, doesn't mean that the same distributor needs to be used. I think with it being sold by a different distributor is a good thing, it doesn't allow one distributor to control the price you have to pay. Len
  13. So was I Ray. Len
  14. Ray, maybe you should go look into it for all of us guys, try it out and let us know how it feels/works? Len
  15. I wax my saw table twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall. I usually do it on the weekend the time changes, same as changing the batteries in the smoke detectors. Len
  16. It's gorgeous, the colors really adds to it also. You and your wife did amazing job on this one, and everything is so neat and tidy looking. Len

    Thanks

No problem Jerry, you take care. Len
  19. Nicely done Pete, I really like the bike. Len
  20. OMG, the amount of fretwork in this one is phenominal, there has to be lots of hours in completing it. John, it's an amazing piece, the owners are sure to be pleased that you finished it for them. Was there much work left to do to it, and about how many hours do you have into it? Len
  21. Jerry, it's sad to think you have to stop scrolling due to an injury, hopefully, you can soon get back to the saw. You'll be missed on the site, I do hope you're not suffering a lot, take care. Len
  22. Iggy, if it's not already firmly bolted to the floor, bolt it down now if possible. Doing so will help with vibrations, it stiffens the saw up. Len
  23. Iggy, I thought you were going to return your new replacement, wasn't that your intentions? I didn't think you were satisfied with it, would they not take it back or did you just decide to keep it? Len
  24. Nicely done Todd, you've been busy. Len
  25. Nicely done Frank, I like Charles's patterns also, I've just never cut any of them out yet. The middle one is just a clearer picture, isn't it? Len
