  1. I have used clear waterbased poly for years and love it. Gives a nice shine but lets the natural look come thru. Cleanup is a breeze. sully
  2. Thank you all for your prayers, I trust in the Lord above all sully
  3. Just got back from the VA and they have confirmed that it probably is cancer in my kidney as the ultrasound shows it being a solid growing tumor and not a cyst. So here we go again after 4 years of being cancer free. Looks like surgery is in the plans in a few weeks when they get it figgered out but thankfully no chemo or radiation at this time. Please keep my wife Phyllis and I in your prayers as we face yet another battle. Thanks all and God Bless sully

  6. I wanted to update ya'll to what the Dr told us today at the VA. on my kidney. They are still not sure of what it is as yet but they did do a ultrasound to better understand what it might be. We talked about the different surgery options that are possible and where they would or could be done. Thank everyone for their prayers and well wishes. our next appointment is next Monday to talk about the results of the ultrasound and also who might do the surgery. He did say that they found it very early and it's only about a inch in size --- small to them but to big for my liking. As we know more i'll update ya'll.God bless ya'll sully
  7. Got coffee and water ready for ya'll so grab a cup of your favorite. I'll have to pass on breakfast as i'm headed to the VA this morning to see the Urologist about the kidney tumor. Kinda nervous but i'm trusting in the Lord. Will let ya'll know what's going on with it as soon as we know . Have a blessed day and please pray cause i really need it for some peace. sully
  8. Jeffert, There's no right or wrong way to sell your stuff. All the above advice is true. I have tried FB and it was a flop big time so i don't even mess with it any more. I stick with craft shows and my local FM. Craft shows are the best way to go. Price is totally up to you and the area you live in based on economics. I don't sell a lot but enough to make it worthwhile to do shows. Also my wife does jewelry and we have other handmade things we do. My highest portrait is $100 and my lowest is $20. I know this don't help much just don't give up. sully
  9. Glad yer better. AFIB is no fun, before i had my ablation done in 2010 I went out of rythme at least every 10 days. Since then not once thank the Lord. sully

  14. Well good mornin all, Thanks for the coffee. Going to do some yard work today as might not be able to in the near future - got the results back on my Ct of a couple weeks ago and it looks like after 4 years of being cancer free i now probably have kidney cancer. We go Monday to see a urologist at the VA to look into our options, most likely surgery but we will see. It's still small but is growing . Went from 1.7 cm to 2.7 in just a couple weeks -- not good. Lord has it in his hands so i'm off to find my rake. Keep me in your prayers please. sully
