  1. I'll get glass tomorrow
  2. Great job Kevin you just keep on ticking like a Timex and precise to boot!
  3. Its not so much the quantities of holes that make the piece for me Dick, cause it really doesn't matter if I do 20 pieces with a 100 holes or 1 piece with 2000 holes it's the total project I fall in love with. I look at first is it going to tax my abilities, is it artistic, will it hold my interest while cutting, all questions I ask before I attempt to cut a piece. I have so many pieces now as I rarely sell any, Its hard to choose a favourite. But if I had to pick one it would more then likely be the picture of Jesus evicting the money changers. I did about 6 months ago.
  4. Excellent Job its a show piece that will be admired for years to come Congratulations.

  9. Thanks Roly I use the cheapest 3 mm plywood available as I just haven't found a source for nice material here. but with a little stain who knows better.
  10. Thanks Robbert you have no idea how much that screw bugs me but until I can find something different Its going to have to do.
  11. Gee thanks Kevin that's quite a compliment considering the many very talented scrollers in the village I feel I'm just one of the guys developing a knack for perfection in scrolling Its been a long road and now I have found my niche. Rather then portraits and puzzles I find 3D pieces as in baskets and bowls more exciting as there is the challenge of assembly, so in fact your building something. But to each his/her own. But as usual thanks for your kind words, I just cant wait to be a Zen scroller.
  12. Ha ha ha Kevin No you haven't seem my shop yet as I don't have one, I use a spare bedroom for a work place as I don't have many tools but I need a place to keep my material dry and I work outside a lot in the shade but thats it no shop sorry.
  13. I wished I would live a little closer I'd pick this up for a backup for my saw but the cost of getting it here isn't worth it my last dewalt cost me 800 dollars

  15. Amazing job Kevin I guess you have money to burn I mean cut Very well done my friend
  16. As I only cut 1/8 and 3/16" material I think Kevin hit the nail on the head, Pressure is key I never slow my machine down unless I use a spiral blade other then that it is #3 blades for me with a backer. Good luck.

  21. Very good job Barbara your work is much better then you think, you know we are out own worst critics, as this hobby becomes an addiction and soon you'll get to the point where you just cant work with that saw any longer or you'll burn it out and need to up grade. Judging by what I see here it's not going to be that far down the road. Great job keep up the good work. .../Hans
  22. Nice work Luis love the finish. Great cut
  23. Thanks every one for your compliments, I was on a roll but regret I have to take a brake as I'm going back to Canada for a vacation and see some of my kin, When I return I've been looking at a plan for a cathedral Its going to be a big project but I feel I still have it so why not, see you all when I return. .../Hans
