  1. You are a master with these wonderful patterns you make and then to execute the cuttings that leaves my mouth wide open in awe when I see them. I look at the top of the verticle grill pieces and it appears they must be all individual once they are cut. That must be the part you are talking about that you taped, some how, in order to make those unbelievable cuts. Not sure I will every be able to be good enough to execute those cuts. This is a beautifully done project. Dick heppnerguy
  2. That is a master piece to say the least. It is filled with obvious challenges but well worth the time spent on it Dick heppnerguy
  3. That is a really cute pattern. Very nicely done, as are all your scrolling. Thanks for posting Dick heppnerguy
  4. I will tell him.. He was also stationed at FT Lewis for awhile and then went to Fort Bragg for his jump school and became a jump master there as well. He returned there to do more of his special forces training and is now back at Fr Lewis. Thank you for your service as well. It takes a very special person to be a part of such a group, You now are one of my heroes as well Dick heppnerguy
  5. I will. He is a wonderful person and one of my heroes. I was in the paratroopers when I was in the Army and his devotion and commitment makes anything I ever tried to do in the military as pretty much next to nothing. This guy is always pursuing the most difficult and challenging things he can find. Dick heppnerguy
  6. Thank you all for the nice comments. I think he will like it also. I have made him several military items and he seems to treasure them all. I am extremely proud of him Dick heppnerguy
  7. As you may or may not know, from some of my previous posts, I have a grandson who is a captain in the Army Special Forces. I ran across this pattern on Sue Mey's site and just had to buy it and make it for him. It is made from BB Ply and it approx. 11 inches. I know he will like it and I will be able to give it to him personally because I will be seeing him at the wedding we are going to in Portland, at the end of May. Dick heppnerguy

  17. Nicely done, Brenda. One can really get close to their animals. My daughter and granddaughters all have horses and have almost all their lives. I have one young granddaughter that buy, trains and sell horses all the time. She does really well with it and probably has no idea how many horses she has owned. Dick heppnerguy

  23. I have never had to go through anything like you are now doing and I can only imagine how difficult it must be to even get a good nights sleep. I hope you can get all of that work finished soon. It must be really awful to have to not only put up with all the damage and them fight for the money you have coming. That is why I don't care much for insurance companies. You pay and pay and then when you need it, they find ways to NOT have to pay it. That said, you sound like you are getting your shop back in order. Glad you are back with us. Hope to hear that things are finally starting to get back together for you. Dick heppnerguy

  25. I had a friend of a friend contact me about custom making a sign for their friend who was moving into a new home. It is in the desert and they were interested in making a desert plaque for them. I had her pick a basic design from a couple of links I sent to her and then I added the names and saying she wanted on it. I decided to raise the middle of the plaque to add some interest so I cut it at 4 degrees and painted it and glued it in place. Afterwards I added the basic design and finished it. I used 1/4 inch BB Ply and cut it with #3 reverse tooth Pegas Blade. I mailed it to her today and she replied that she was very excited about it. I hope that she is when she sees it. I liked it myself, but that part really doesn't matter, except to me. Dick heppnerguy
