I'm a little dense and it took me awhile until I caught on to what this one was all about. A pretty cool pattern for the ham operator. I guess I was under the impression with all the internet things that the ham operations were now a thing of the pass. I learned something today Dick heppnerguy

Wow... for sure you have not lost your touch. I go away from my shop for 3 months and I need to get used to everything all over again. What a great piece to break back into with. If you can handle this one, you can do it all again. Glad you were able to upgrade to you knew saw. It has to be one of the best saws on the market now. Great project Dick heppnerguy

I really like the added colorization in the middle. I just cut another one and I think I will add the added color to it too. Yours came out really nice. Glad the pattern got to you OK. It sure is a nice pattern and seems to be liked by many Dick heppnerguy

Thank you for your nice comment. I see so many people who colorize their wood scroll saw project and they look so nice. I just do not have that artistic ability but if I keep trying perhaps some day I just might catch on about how to do it, at least that is my hopes Dick heppnerguy

One of my granddaughters moved to another state a couple of months ago and has a new neighbor who has been very generous to her and her family. He has given them several items from his farm and from some of his hunting successes. She wanted me to do something for him in return. Apparently he has a bar in his house and she wanted me to make him a plaque to hang in his bar. She wanted something on the humorous side and I choose the one I am posting today. As you can see I went a little out of my bounds and decided to use a little painting to make it stand out a little better. As you may or may not know, I have been very unhappy every time I try to add some color to my work but I tell myself, if I don't keep trying to improve on it, how can I get better. I am more satisfied than I normally am on this one but I also understand I have a long, long way to go to understand how to add my colorization. That said, this pattern is a Steve Good pattern that I thought might satisfy my granddaughter and hopefully the man she is giving it to. Dick heppnerguy
