She is not bed ridden, she is too tough for that but she is somewhat unsteady on her feet and in a lot of pain. She is doing much better already. Went to the doctor today and got her some more meds and a blood draw. We have some company coming in about a week to visit and I hope she can help me with that because I am not a very good cook, especially for a number of people. Dick heppnerguy

Thank you, She is doing a little better every day. I now understand better why they say a womans work is never done. I do the laundry, cleaning, cooking, dishes, dusting and taking care of my wife's needs, besides the shopping and my outside jobs too. I didn't know I could do that much.. Dick heppnerguy

Thank you. I rattle canned it with 3 different shades of blue. It doesn't show up so much in the photo though but it real life it looks great.....I think Dick heppnerguy

I too am not into this particular style of patterns either but like others have already said, you did an amazing and admiral job on this project. If I were into this kind of pattern of super heroes, there sure are a lot of good patterns out there like this one Dick heppnerguy

I feel a lot like you do. I do not do sales but sell a little of my finished pieces on line, every now and then. I tried a craft show when I first started scrolling, only because my daughter wanted me to, but quickly found out that cutting a series of items just to make some extra money, took the fun out of what I was doing and made 'work' out of my pleasures. I would much rather take a request and cut it rather than make things that may or may not sell. I did ok on the money end but never was happy about the time I had spent on several of the same pieces that I brought back as left overs. That is a beautifully done giraffe piece you did. I have a granddaughter that likes giraffes a lot and I have made her several different ones. She always loves them and has a giraffe wall of my work. Dick heppnerguy

Charlie, You might consider coping some of Van Gogh's famous paintings and sellling them in a garage sale. You might make a fortune, is someone thinks they are getting a genuine painting of his. Just kidding, of course but it was a really cool idea of yours to give your art entwined with Van Gogh's portrait. Nice job. Dick heppnerguy

Your work is always so beautifully done and your painting is exactly what I wish I had the talent for. Mine almost always ends up as a disappointment for me, when I do try to paint something. Amazing items, once again Dick heppnerguy

Great idea. I have made a couple but usually just buy them when I see some on sale. I love your idea and have thought several time to just make them as part of the piece. thanks for posting what is a reminder for me. You did a nice job on this and it looks quite nice. Dick heppnerguy

I have been away for 2 months and then finally got home the 2nd of this month and a couple of days later my wife fell and hurt her arm and ribs and I have become the domestic player in the house since. My wife is starting to do much better but still has a way to go. Anyway. I was able to grab some shop time and made this Steve Good pattern for my wife. I needed to do something that was quick and easy but had a lot of interest in it so I showed this one to my wife and she liked it a lot, so here is my finished piece. She choose the colors for the background.

Welcome back. I have often wondered what happened to you. I especially remember your pattern making. I am sure I have cut a couple of yours but really don't remember which ones, as old age has killed all but 2 of my brain cells and one of them is always sleeping too. Good to see you are all right and doing well. Congratulations on your new wife. November we will be celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary.
