  1. What a beauty! Congrats, Great way to celebrate the 4th of July!
  2. That is an awesome picture. You have a good eye for picking colors just like a painter has to have when painting pictures.
  3. You are a lucky man to have a new grandson. Mine are all getting older, so they are no longer cute, they are more demanding. But I love them. That little one is very handsome.
  4. Great job on both pattern and cutting. The reddish background works very well in my opinion. Nice looking horse and tack.
  5. @Tomanydogs that is a great piece. Must have been very difficult to cut, no like cutting on a flat board.
  6. I love that piece, Denny! Sent me searching for his pattens. He does have some neat stuff. Some I have done, but I like his choice of woods better. Some of mine I will be redoing. You did a great job.
  7. I have a pressboard around 18" x 30", leaning against my wood storage rack or band saw base. I tape a piece of news paper to the front. Attach the pattern to the news paper and spray the back of the pattern. Every once and a while I replace the new paper.
  8. Was Gandhi sleeping on it? Sorry, I could not resist. My bad! What are you applying glue to? Like spraying glue on patterns or gluing pieces of wood together? I agree I have seen them for painting, but not for glueing.
  9. Not really a subject matter I would cut, but I think you did a terrific job with it, both the cutting and coloring. I do not have the artistic ability to do coloring like that. Great job.
  10. very nice work!
  11. Many times I have sprayed the back of the picture with spray adhesive 77 and put the backer on. Never had a problem.
  12. I fear when you get here you may laugh at my work compared to yours. But we will have a great time.
  13. I have a comment: That is pretty amazing, you are very talented!
  14. @tgiro I would loce to know where your got chuck that mounts on you slow speed grinder.
  15. very nicely done.
  16. Great one. In fact I like it the best so far.
  17. And yet, if you watch the JGR video on Contouring Intarsia, she is wearing gloves, if I remember correctly.
  18. Never worry, Ray. I always assume you are kidding, I love kidding. If you are not, I could take it anyways, just words.
  19. I'm a MARINE! I use the belt sander to trim my toe and finger nails!! Trim my hair with an angle grinder!

Welcome to the village. From you profile I have the feeling you are younger, than most of us. Hope so, be good to have some young thoughts and ideas. Don't be shy, jump in and show us your work. Great to have you here. Then again, you have only made the one post so far, hope we were not just a passing fancy...
  21. Great job!
  22. Exactly!
  23. Welcome to the forum. That is a pretty nice setup and looks like a better use of the top blade guard than what they were intended for. Good idea.
