  1. Great work. I enjoy 3-d cutting too. You've got it down pat.
  2. Charley, what did you find was the reason for your back/knee pain and bruising? Was it a clot or sciatic or ???. Just curious. Glad you're able to get back at it though. You have so much knowledge to offer, I miss it when you aren't as active. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
  3. Very nice. Thanks for showing.
  4. Where can I get that Grinch pattern? My wife wants one.
  5. I've seen the one you are talking about. Maybe do a google image search for work lights.
  6. Norm, after living in Colorado at 8500 ft elevation, I have experienced the cold weather. That's not the part that I don't like. It's the fact that once it sets in, it's there for far too long. Give me a very short winter season or better yet, none at all. We are looking hard at Florida for a multitude of reasons. Love their Governor.
  7. Plus 1 for this one.
  8. We may be moving to Florida so these posts interest me. Happy for you.
  9. Whoever you buy your blades from might like to get that feedback. A few years back, Pegas had a whole bunch of bad blades and didn't say a word, just send out new ones. I had bought a gross from Qtena.com and when I reported to them that I had some of the blades that had been id'd as bad, they sent me another whole gross. I'm still using up the first gross.
  10. Well, you could always build it and then donate it to a local museum or library or something. Just sayin......If you build it they will ????
  11. Nice stuff for sure. Thanks.
  12. Excellent Charley!
  13. Thanks, I was just curious. I'd never expect to ship something like that.
  14. I'd love to have it but we are too far apart and I don't have space for it anyway. But, I'd sure love to have it. Why are you selling it if I may ask?
  15. If I had the space for all the gadgets I want, I wouldn't be able to afford them. Once I get all my stuff made up, I'll have to run over to Rolf's and have him show me how to sand them all.
  16. When/if I take an order, I tell them not to place the order if they are in a hurry. So, I get to take my time and do it my way. And that varies on every project. I'm too new to the hobby to have any set ways yet.
  17. All very sound points Kevin.
  18. Barbara, I have so many varied interests. My wife and I share the morning paper so while she is reading it, I started doing the crossword puzzles. There are 4 of them everyday. I've learned a ton of new words & facts and can now answer many of the Jeopardy questions. So what you say is true. Gotta keep the mind working all the time. I've got 2 books going all the time too. I love reading.
  19. Thanks Dave. I guess I'll just stick with the old office chair I scrounged up. It's still my favorite.
  20. I enjoy the cutting so much that I'm always sad when I finish and the drudgery of sanding and finishing begins. I'm not one to have projects all lined up and prepped but I may have to start so that I always have something ready to scroll.
  21. I think I'd like it with the back rest. I love the tractor seat but I want to lean back sometimes. I'll have to collect some cans & bottles.
  22. I'm only a silver supporter and I got in RJ. You do have to accept the rules first. That was tough. I'm not a good lad when it comes to rules. LOL.
  23. I guess I'm not big enough yet to access this "special area". I wonder how much it costs.
  24. Well, you deserve the praise. You are doing a good thing and your Mother proves that you are never too old to learn something new. Scrolling is a hobby for all ages and the quality of the new saws just makes learning that much easier. After doing a quick search to see what the Delta saw looks like, it seems there are a ton of them on the used market and at very reasonable prices. You should have no problem finding a good saw for Mom.
