I'm sorry to hear about your wife's knee surgery but happy to hear that she is recovering. I've got both knees that give me fits from time to time also. I just found some stuff that seems to help with the joint pain and inflammation. It's called MSM powder. I bought it on Amazon. a half tea spoon twice a day dissolved in warm water or whatever beverage you choose. I use warm water as it dissolves faster. Anyway, it seems to work. My knees haven't hurt for 2 days in a row.

I have been watching a ton of videos done by a Japanes craftsman and he has a lot of U.S. made tools even though he is in Japan. He pulled this little square out the other day and used it for marking drill holes in a 2 x 4 and I decided that I need one. I've tried every description and name I can think of and even gone on a couple of the Chinese supply sites but still nothing. I'm hoping someone here has one or at least knows what I'm talking about.

Although a different situation tha yours, my wife and I spent the best 3 years of our lives out on the road. We had a 1 ton crew cab dually Chevy Duramax/Allison pulling a 36 foot Hitchhiker 5th wheel trailer. We sold everything except a few family things which were in a 6 x 8 ft storage unit. We thought at first about work camping but soon gave that idea up as we did not want to be on anybody's schedule but our own. It was wonderful. Have fun.

Can you all tell that we were born prior to the "throw-away mentality" came about? I can't stand to throw anything away. My Dad had a ball of string made up of pieces too small to save. Same with tin foil. Lol.

I've never seen a Hegner stand with any sort of inserts in the legs. The stand for the Polymax but be different. Every stand I've seen was 3 legs, flat on the bottoms and had steel tabs welded to the leg to bolt them down. Weird!

There is no way that anybody can know it all. I've met some folks who thought they did though. They soon dim their lights when you show them the error of their ways. I love learning new things. I guess that's why I love Instructables and Youtube so much. Alway find what I need there.

Sounds like a winner. I always spray the pattern and let it "cure" until it's barely tacky. Less tacky than a post-it note.
