    Can you all tell that we were born prior to the "throw-away mentality" came about? I can't stand to throw anything away. My Dad had a ball of string made up of pieces too small to save. Same with tin foil. Lol.

    I've never seen a Hegner stand with any sort of inserts in the legs. The stand for the Polymax but be different. Every stand I've seen was 3 legs, flat on the bottoms and had steel tabs welded to the leg to bolt them down. Weird!

    There is no way that anybody can know it all. I've met some folks who thought they did though. They soon dim their lights when you show them the error of their ways. I love learning new things. I guess that's why I love Instructables and Youtube so much. Alway find what I need there.

    Sounds like a winner. I always spray the pattern and let it "cure" until it's barely tacky. Less tacky than a post-it note.

    it's ok to just chime in on most any subject and we'd all like to see pics of what you make with your new saw. We all love pics and they are very simple to add to any post as long as you have them on your computer or phone or whatever device you are using. Just click on the "choose files" just below and it will prompt you to go where the pics are and then just click to add.

    When you get really good with it, I've got a great walnut log that I have been going to try my hand at resawing. I might just load it up and bring it out to you.

    I'm not quite understanding what the two are about. I understand the top one but what's puzzling about the star? Never mind, I went back and now see that it's a puzzle that holds the pieces that are then supposed to be put into a star. Great idea. I might have to make one.

    I had no idea that I was that bad. I will stop "liking" everything. I do it so I know which posts I've read. I guess I've developed a bad habit. It stops now.

    I just went out and looked at the new ones and they are also priced a $9.95. That's a great price too. You'll find a ton of great stuff to make in that book.
