  1. Can I join the band? I can bring my own instruments!!! From the latest issue. Not sure what the wood is. Cut with #3 FD Full/Ultra reverse.
  2. Great work. My guess for blades is 25!!
  3. That is a great piece. The live edge really sets it off.
  4. Beautiful saying in a beautiful piece of wood!
  5. Did the pattern get posted in the pattern library???
  6. Beautiful. I have that on my todo list!
  7. so cute.
  8. Those are all lovely. I tend to procrastinate as well.
  9. That is beautiful. Well done! My son-in-law is an aviation tech and keeps the Canadian Hercules planes flying for search & rescue.
  10. I print from the book. If I notice an issue with the line I will draw it on. From the latest magazine, I copied from the large insert, missed part of the pattern, so I traced it and taped it on.
  11. The other 2 day sale I have done I have made about $1000 over the 2 days. And with less foot traffic.
  12. It was a lousy sale. The organizers said foot traffic was about 2000. I did just over $500 for the two days, after table cost. One sale, to my sister-in-law was more than half the sales.
  13. That was a piece of Black Ash I received from a friend.
  14. Well, that was a very disappointing event. The organizers were anticipating upwards of 2,000 people. I did just over $500 for both days. One sale, to my sister-in-law was more than half the sales amount. Definitely won't be doing this one next year.
  15. Good luck. Wouldn't it be a good deal as long as it runs???
  16. Nice selection. Glad you did well.
  17. I thought cork mostly because of it's insulating factor and it would be better against a wood table. I put cork on the back of this project. This has a hanger on it for hanging on a wall. Not sure how much strength it provides but it is better than nothing.
  18. I have a couple of "racks" that I use. I have an old screen that I place between two sawhorses. Taped an cheap plastic shower curtain under it so the finish will drip onto that. Or, I have an cookie cooling rack zip-tied to a cardboard box and hooks for hanging ornaments.
  19. Here is my set up for this weekend's show. It should be interesting. Lots of "antique" booths. For the first time at any of the shows I have been to, there is another scroller. Thankfully his stuff is different than mine. He has a bunch of the "stickmen" sets and wildlife items. Looking forward to meeting him. I haven't met anyone else, in Winnipeg, that does scroll saw cutting.
  20. Thanks. It is a Steve Good pattern. I cut it years ago out of BB ply and did it without the backer. These got the backer because the wood chipped a bit.
  21. Here are a couple more for my sale this weekend.
  22. Looks great. I haven't made any trivets, but if you want to make a backer, try cork.
  23. Lovely gift.
  24. A perfect gift. Well done!
