  1. The drives don't ship out of the US. It is also available for download.
  2. What a great story.
  3. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
  4. What a lovely project @FrankEV. A darker spinnaker is not uncommon. We had an orange one on our Lightning. And a multi-coloured one on our O'Day. The waves are perfect. Looks like a great day for a sail.
  5. Time to take up Intarsia and just change the blade every 10 minutes
  6. This is a challenge to figure out which one was a favorite. This is one of my favorites. Designed by our own @FrankEV.
  7. I used a rotary tool with a rigid disc to make the lines on the pine cones. You could do something similar to make the rows of corn.
  8. This is the sanding mop I use. https://stockroomsupply.com/collections/sanding-mops I have broken some details and had to go searching for bits. Usually able to glue pieces back. For delicate pieces, I would hold a backer on while sanding.
  9. Thanks for the photos. The thing I noticed is you have the lever pushed all the way down. It isn't supposed to be that far down. Here is a video @Denny Knappen did showing the proper way to tension. https://artcraftersscrollsaw.com/artcrafters-scroll-saw-youtube-channel/
  10. I will paint/stain the backer but not out to the edge. Glue the pieces together, usually with Titebond. After they are glued, i will sand the edges smooth. Then everything gets the finish. These were done with Tung Oil. Only one has a painted backer. It was done with Unicorn Spit.
  11. Right back at you Don.
  12. I cut these all the time. One of my better sellers. I have only used Poplar for it. Not had a problem with breakage. I have given a few as gifts. For those I have painted some of the cats to match cats the recipient has had.
  13. This is the tape I have been using in my Intarsia. It holds, for the most part, quite well. It isn't so sticky to cause breakage when removing bits. For your situation, I would tape the small pieces to a larger piece of plywood. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B09D782N6X?
  14. A couple of new tips for me. I did see one video where he rubbed sandpaper over the glue instead of using salt.
  15. Now I am curious to know what puzzle it was that you cut. Picture please!
  16. Welcome from Winnipeg! Don't hesitate to jump in on the saw and the Village. Lots of experience and fun here.
  17. Interesting having Highland beef in the mix.
  18. Great job. For "clamping" this I would have used elastic bands around the whole thing. I also use "bubble tubes" (came in a shipping box) with a weight on top.
  19. Beautiful. I agree with the "some projects fight you". Glad this one wanted to be made.
  20. I would leave them natural. I have many light/natural ornaments on my tree. They show up just fine. Painting them is very time consuming, unless you are spraying.
  21. I have been using MV Boli. The downside is it needs bridges for some of the letters.
  22. With help from @don in brooklin on I got this ornament done. Steve Good pattern that I had to add the bame and change the year.
  23. It is lovely. I agree with Dan, it looks great on its own.
  24. Similar product. https://stockroomsupply.com/collections/flatmasters-and-diy-drum-sander-kits
