You did a nice job on it Ken. I agree, it would’ve looked nicer in a hardwood. Steve Good creates nice patterns, but sometimes doesn’t realize how fragile some designs will be.

Beautiful work Ken, you did an excellent job cutting it! Patrick Spielman was a great instructor. I learned a lot from his books way before the internet. His legacy still lives on in work like yours! Congratulations on the new saw. You now own two premium saws!

I just can’t see this working as each and every blade cuts differently. It requires the user to compensate for the blades deficiencies. Not to mention different brands and different sizes of blades. -

Beautiful rendition of a Steve Good pattern Les! I have cut two of them. Be warned that it is extremely fragile, especially where the upright of the stand meets the body. DAHIKT.

The Unisaw actually has three belts, all in a row that turn the trunnion, which turns the blade.

Looks good Dave! I’d take a picture of my set up, buts it’s tucked up between my clamp rack and a storage table. I only use it for my ROS, so the vac filter only needs to be cleaned once a year, weather it needs it or not! That’s how effective the Dust Deputy is!

Welcome to the Village David! Ray above gave you some good advise. I’m on my third DeWALT in 25 years. My current saw is starting to show signs of wear. I just ordered a Pegas from @Denny Knappen. Looking forward to my new saw!

Welcome to the Village Forrest! I have done several Dearing patterns. Mostly done with flat blades, but a few cuts with spirals.

I make small animal puzzles as giveaways. I originally cut these as giveaways at shows, but since there were no shows this year, I sent them as free gifts with orders from my Etsy store.
