Great design and an original idea. Another cracker Dan. Rob
  4. Great cutting. Very crisp. Rob
  5. Very nice Rusty. I'm going to spend some of my craft fair earnings on a pen turning mandrel and give it a go. Rob
  6. Really great cutting Dick. I love the pattern. It's such a shame we can't get Baltic Birch ply here in NZ. Rob
  7. Great job. I reckon that would be a good seller too. Rob
  8. I have been off the saw for a bit since we had two sets of visitors from the UK over Christmas and the New Year but I managed to squeeze in a craft fair yesterday. Footfall was low partly due to the hot weather and partly an art show on at the same time in the same hall but the room next door. In the first two hours I only sold one $5 fridge magnet but ended the day at $310 which was down on my last attempt but not too bad. $120 of that came in the last 15 minutes so never give up! P.S. Thought it was time I showed my old fizgog... Rob
  9. Great idea Dan. Rob

    Today's cuts

I finally found the pattern for the Rottweiler. CATRK posted it on this post: http://www.scrollsawvillage.com/topic/20565-shih-tzu-rottie/ so many thanks to Richard for the excellent pattern. Rob
  16. Very cute. Rob
  17. Excellent cutting, gorgeous piece of Cherry and such a perfect finish. Very lovely all round. Rob
  18. Lovely bowl Rusty. What wood is that? Rob
  19. Very nice Dave. I love the red oak, the grain is beautiful. Rob
  20. We can always rely on you to come up with something different Dan. Such a simple bench design but beautifully made and the signs are excellent too. Rob
  21. Wow the crosses are smaller than they look with so much detail in them. I love how your name plaques are always different too. Rob
  22. Those are a great idea. Rob
  23. First off was this Rottweiler plaque. I'm pretty certain I got the pattern from the pattern library but cannot for the life of me find it again so apologies for not crediting the designer. Next was this piece designed by Gayle at the Scroller's Cafe. Both cut from reclaimed rimu from old drawer boxes as usual and finished with 50/50 BLO and a beeswax topcoat. They now charge me $4 for a drawer at the recycling centre. I should probably cut them a few pieces to keep them sweet. Rob
  24. Oooh, could I have a copy please Dave? My sister lives in Dallas.... Thanks, Rob
  25. Those are great Dave. You come up with some original ideas. Flawless cutting as usual too. Rob
