  1. In France, children believe in "La Petite Souris" or the Little Mouse rather than the tooth fairy. This little mouse tooth holder is cut from reclaimed Rimu finished with Tung oil and beeswax. Waxed cotton tail for movement. Rob
  2. So pleased for you Scott. You have worked hard and deserve your success. Well done, Rob
  3. Love those bowls. Will have to try one sometime. Rob
  4. Dave, your boxes are beautiful. Your scrolling and inlay is flawless. Now I understand the stack of boxes in your earlier post. What a great present for that grandma to give her grandkids. $40 seems cheap to me for work of that quality but we all know how hard it is to charge for our work. Very, very, well done, Rob
  5. Awesome Dan. I like them both painted and natural. New Zealand really doesn't go in for Halloween though, even less than the UK which is still a lot less than the US. Rob
  6. That's great Dick. You managed the black and red perfectly. Rob
  7. Very nice I really like that. It could look great simply sprayed white too but I would probably cut it from MDF if I was going to paint it. Rob
  8. Love the cutting by the way. Did you come up with that design? Rob
  9. Outstanding as usual Dave. He'll be happy as a pig in sh*t with those. Make sure you get a decent price or some pork for the freezer! Rob
  10. Great work Peter. The backer set is off perfectly too. Rob
  11. Tony, As Rob Roy said, those will have been laser cut. You could try using a soldering iron or pyrography pen to burn the edge but it might be hard to get an even result. Rob
  12. Can you get a little super glue in there? I don't think I would risk the nail gun. Besides splitting, what if you missed and came through in one of the fretwork voids? Rob
  13. Beautiful piece, really well done. Rob
  14. If you can stack cut three or four at a time then $2 or $2.50 would make them a nice little earner. Rob
  15. Lovely puzzle Roly but I love the background you photographed it against too. That is inspired, it really makes it stand out. Rob
  16. Lovely job Dick. A red backer should really set it off but I'm not sure what you would do about his boots and belt. Rob
  17. I mainly use Flying Dutchman #5 or #3 ultra reverse. I can't put my finger on it but Olsen blades seem clunky to me in comparison to FD but I know others swear by them. At the end of the day it is a personal choice so you are right to try them both and make up your own mind. Good luck, Rob
  18. Wolf plaque cut from reclaimed timber finished with 50/50 BLO and black MDF backer. Pattern is by Thrashantics and is in the pattern library. Rob
  19. That's quite a production line there Dave judging by the pile on the left. Rob
  20. Well done Jim, I thought those would sell. Rob
  21. If that is your first project, WOW ! Very well done. Rob
  22. Matt, when the articulated hose on my Delta Q3 split I replaced it with some clear tube and inserted a length of soft wire which enables me to position it where I want. It works well. Rob
  23. Those are great. Love the red backer. Rob
  24. Great job Kevin. Must make a nice change from all the names you cut. Rob
  25. It has been very slow for me too recently while other sites were loading quickly. Rob
