  2. A great upgrade and well done. Al I believe you might be a good wood worker.
  3. Very good idea Iggy. I think that idea will increase sales.
  4. And since when has government ever done their job.

  6. I have the 6HP Ridgid shop vac and I can't believe it's still running. I would say it's around eight years old and it's the most used tool in my shop. Like you I can't do without a shop vac so I bought another.
  7. That is a lot of patterns for $13.65.
  8. Great job Iggy. I like that giving back thing your doing. I also love the pictures and thanks. I do have one question, was it noisy?
  9. Most towns of any size have companies that sell reclaimed wood, like bard wood. I have found it to be costly. I buy my lumber from a place that sells lumber mostly to cabinet makers. Most everything is around $2 a board foot plus or minus. I have to buy at least $200 worth or they won't sell to you. I do have to plane it but it's better than going to a big box store. Do a Google search.
  10. Larry that is nice. How do you keep the same pressure one board so it will be flat after running it through?
  11. That is good because I didn't like him. I am just kidding, he was a great guy. My dad and his rode to work together with two others. Thar way the wife's only had to do without a car one week a month. Back then you only had one car for most families. Come to think back then you only had one of a lot of things, like one bath, one phone, one job, one wife. I do wish we had computers way back when. You sure can learn a with a computer. I didn't realize how smart I could be.
  12. There was a Steve Curtis that lived around the corner from me in Madison, Tn. and his farther I think worked for DuPont. I went to Madison High. If your the same Steve please send me a PM.
  13. I really like those. Like Iggy said anything dogs is popular. You also did a great job with wood selection. You said there was a hole through the head for the cord. How thick are they?
  14. Larry I know better.
  15. My father went by "DW" Donald William.
  16. Lee that looks like a useful sander. How wide is it and is there a way to catch the dust?
  17. Wow!!! If it's on display I might have to go by and see it. I live about three miles from there.
  18. Matt what I am talking about is having an easy way for people to know your first name. To get your first name I had to go to your profile to get it. Don't say it I know I am lazy.
  19. Ask Cracker Barrel what they do.
  20. Jim while you have been gone we have been having a ball. There has been almost no post on scroll saws. Can you believe it?
  21. I am not much on being a supporter of forums but I did here because scrolling isn't the most popular bobby and I wanted to help it along. I guess what I am trying to say is I would like it to become more popular.
  22. Paul from your picture it looks like yours is working pretty good.
  23. I like them, pretty neat.
  24. Okay Edward what in the heck is a square reader?
  25. Nothing new or fancy here. A week or so ago I saw here where some one put a small box under their saw to collect dust. Well I thought I would try that and it seems to work pretty good. I used those plastic cable ties to attach it to the back and a piece of metal strapping and a rare earth magnet to hold it in place in the front. To clean it out I pull the box down from the magnet and stick my shop vac hose it there. Having it tied in the back doesn't bother me because so far I haven't needed to tilt my table. If I do need to tilt it I will cut it loose and replace it when I am through.
