  1. Thanks Paul, it's so easy a cave man can do it.
  2. Sorry Bobby but I really didn't notice!! I have to say I have been off this site my self. It was very strange but I could do anything thing I wanted except with this site. To get on here it was like having dial up but worse. I finally shut down my computer and rebooted it and (wala) every thing is okay. I sure can't explain that. PS- Bobby we are glad to be back aren't we?
  3. I agree with Wayne about using CA glue. I think you will be able to fix it okay so don't worry.
  4. Nicely done Ike. I have done several of the rescue dogs. There are several people around here that like them but I give my stuff away so you have to take that into consideration.
  5. Can someone explain more on how to use PostErazor? I haven't down loaded it yet because I am afraid of not being able to use it.
  6. I get mine on Ebay. Several times I have ordered them from China with good results. I always make sure they have a very good rating at least 95% and above plus a lot of sales. Also Ebay stands behind you.
  7. Jerry I am sorry to hear you are having a problem getting enough dust under your table. My suggestion is spend a lot more time in your shop scrolling.
  8. Kevin I have the problem no matter what. I can start the saw like I was going to scroll but put a piece of wood against the back of the blade while the saw is running and the wood will vibrate. It really bothers me when I am turning corners. I am getting better at turning corners but they are still a problem for me.
  9. A barbers chair!!! Man that is a great idea. I wish I had one.
  10. I have three in different grits and like them all. I just hope I live long enough to wear them out.
  11. It's doing it with no wood in there. I can put anything on the back of the blade and it will vibrate what ever. It's been doing it for a long time but here lately it's making me mad.
  12. My blade is making the wood jump around. I have checked to see if the blade is square to the table and it is. So what do y'all think is wrong and how do you fix it?
  13. Charley is giving you good advice. He has spent a lot of his life making and fixing things. I bet most of those bearings are the same if not all. That would cut production cost. You can also take the bearing and the sleeve to the store and they can measure them or cross reference the numbers that is on them. From watching the video I think it's pretty straight forward and I really don't think you will have a problem.
  14. It's been a while since I watched the You Tube video but it seems the guy said if you have the numbers for the bearings and races the company he mentioned could cross reference them. He said that the bearing and races were of better quality than what came in the saw. That would mean a longer time between repairs. Also if it were me I would replace every thing so you wouldn't have to fix it again. Just saying.
  15. Sounds like a good deal Randy. Your wife will be okay with it when you make her something nice. Besides I bet she spends money on things she likes. My wife doesn't say anything about the money I spend nor do I say anything to her. For us this works out pretty good. We both don't go overboard with our spending that is what makes it work.
  16. What "Just Larry" just posted will give you every thing you need to know. Those are long videos but well worth your time.
  17. The more I use them the better I like Pegas blades.
  18. That is some chess set, man o man. Not a bad deal on the Jet.
  19. So your going to have some fun cleaning it up and fine tuning it up. Then you can have another beer.
  20. You can see I have copied the words of my last post. Let me see if I can explain this so you will understand. I am also assuming your screen looks like mine. Up at the top on your screen there is a web address like this. http://www.scrollsaw...ow-to-add-link/ You highlight that address by right clicking and holding it down and dragging it along the address. It will turn blue in color. Next go back to the right of the address and right and a drop down will pop up. You then click on "copy". You have now got it copied so go where you want to post your link and right click and the drop down will appear again so you then click on "paste" and your link will appear. Most of the time if you high lite something you can right click then click "copy" then "paste it. Whither it be a word or a whole page you can copy and paste it. Hope this helps.

  22. Amber this is the reason that a lot of folks don't last long using a scroll saw. A lot of these cheap saws are junk right out of the box. When you can get a good saw and you will be happy. Sorry to be so negative but that is my opinion. By the way welcome to the forum and don't give up get your part for your Ryobi and keep scrolling.
  23. They look good Bob. That is a funny cartoon and I bet the guys at work will really like it.
  24. I started scrolling because I have neuropathy and the doctor said if I live long enough it would put me in a wheelchair. At the time I didn't pay much attention to him but now I am beginning to believe him. For it's a hobby and a hobby for me has always been just that. I don't want it to become a job ( i have had a job and don't want any more) I want to enjoy it. As far as being serious I would say no but I like scrolling a lot.
