    Cut this one for my son who is as big a fan as I am. The text is a line from his song "Souvenirs" which is definitely worth a listen. Cut in 1/2" alder.

    That would be awesome. I have a 53 year old autistic cousin who loves Scooby Doo. His name is Jason but he goes by Shaggy.

    Thanks Marg. I used acrylic craft paint and brushed it on. The wood is alder and it took the paint very well without raising the grain.

    My 7 year old grandson asked me to make him a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle portrait. I found an image combining all four including their weapons that i used for a segmentation pattern. If you're not familiar they are, left to right top to bottom, Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael. Not sure how long they've been around but my son was a fan over 30 years ago.

    No, you didn’t tell me. At Opryland we were told he was just there to record a live song or two, but because so many people were there waiting in a drizzling rain he did a whole concert. True or not it made for a good memory.

    For those of you not “lucky” enough to experience the 17 year cicada emergence, welcome to my back yard. If you’re not familiar with them they come out of the ground, climb a structure, exit their outer shell, spend 2-3 weeks making noise, mating and laying eggs, then die. 17 years later it happens again. There are also 13 year and annual cicadas. One hitched a ride inside on my leg tonight. Hope the videos work for you. I don't know how to insert them without them being downloads.     Thank you. Yes it is! I still have a 24 slot 8 track case I carried in my car back in the day. I’m thinking my tape deck was aftermarket, under dash.

    I’ve been a Waylon fan for almost fifty years. I was at the Opryland Amusement Park in Tennessee around 1975 and heard him play, not really knowing much about him, and have been a fan since.
