    Well, there's no comparison to the amount of work that goes into one of yours and one of mine. The detail in your work is phenomenal. I haven't done much scrolling lately. We took a trip to the Smoky Mountains, plus I started watching Breaking Bad and got so hooked on it I watched all 5 seasons in about 2 weeks.

    Beautiful project Dave! We used to play in high school. Very little strategy. Mostly just move around till an opportunity presented itself.

    I’m having to get creative finding new places. I’ve sort of had them in categories, musicians, actors, cowboys etc. I may have to give up on that soon. I wish more people could see them. I’ve had a few come in and look at a couple, say “huh” and leave. And a couple that stayed a while and asked lots of questions. Those kind are fun. We have a cultural arts center in town where local artists display their work for like a month. I need to sign up for that, but it’s about a two year waiting list I think.

    Yes you did! I passed some of mine down to my son also. Honestly though he has introduced me to lots of good music I would have missed. He and I share a great love of good music.

    Thanks! Yes, it’s red oak and just a bit over 1/2”. I think the guitar was a template for a tattoo.

    Neil Diamond's song, Play Me, came on the radio the other day and it inspired this cutting. After reading some other opinions and listening to it about a dozen times while cutting it, for me, it's about the relationship between him and his guitar and maybe sometimes music as a whole. If you disagree, you're right too. I'll add the pattern to the library.

    That's cool! I told my wife, Connie, yesterday that while I know I'll miss my grandchildren being little when they grow up, like your Liam, at least I'll know we enjoyed every minute we could while they were little. I'm fortunate to live close to all of mine and see them almost daily. We're so blessed where it really counts.

    About a year ago I made several planets, stars and rockets for my grandson's wall to match his bedding. He has recently become a huge Star Wars fan so I'm making some space ships from the movies and my son is secretly adding them to his wall one at a time. Here he is when he first saw the X Wing fighter. Last night they added the Bow Tie Fighter. I'm working on the Millennium Falcon. So much fun being a Pop!
