  1. I know this has been covered before but I can't seem to find the posts. What kind of magnifying lights do you use for your scroll saw. I was being cheap and looking at the Harbor freight one for $39.99 has anyone tried this one out. Steve Good said it was pretty good for the money. I have a couple that I paid around 30.00 bucks each but they are about seventeen years old and one quit. If you don't mind let me know what you are currently using. Thank you grizz
  2. Looks like you found a new toy. You will have lots of fun making saw dust with this. I tried one and it wasn't for me. But they are nice saws and I am sure you will enjoy it. grizz
  3. Very nice job Ray. The EX is a great saw, seems to make it easier to make projects. grizz
  4. Looks like it works fine. It will keep them altogether and stackable. Can't beat free shipping either. grizz
  5. Generally go out and buy what I need for a project except BB I keep plenty of that on hand. I am not a very good organizer or planner. Seems if I keep stock laying around I end up moving it all the time and possibly dinging it up. grizz
  6. Purchased Pegas #5 from Qetna about three months ago or so and they were the newer batch. no problems. I do have some with the notch from last year and have not had one of them break. ( yet ) Have not noticed the bad tooth on those. Should have no problems getting the good blades now. grizz
  7. Good job. I like the picture. Lot of work getting the pattern off though. Perseverance paid off. grizz
  8. great job. I like Pops Place best. Good luck picking one out. grizz
  9. I think you will do well with the childrens puzzles again Iggy. I had them last year as well as the signature puzzles. I think I sold just as many childrens puzzles as I did the others. Hope you do well with the key leash holder. grizz
  10. Now at least you know what not to do next fathers day as it didn't turn out well. Hope you get well soon and back in the shop. grizz
  11. I use mostly the #3 and #5 MG blades. they cut well, last a long time. I also use FD #1 Silver reverse blade. I get my MD blades from qtena, com and DnD. Qtena is fast delivery and good prices. good people to work with. So are DnD. Get my FD blades from The wooden Teddy Bear. grizz
  12. That's just for you Hegner lovers Paul. LOL does sound like a good deal though. grizz
  13. Let me know Paul that sounds great, I have been bust and haven't seen you for a while . There were Tornados within 50 miles of where we were but we got lucky and didn't get hit. Lots of big hail but again got lucky this time. When we came out of Springfield Mo there was 2 foot of water over the freeway. They were getting ready to close it but I made it through. Every campground was a mud pit. And I forgot about the humidity since I have been gone from there for 43 years. It Sucks. grizz
  14. Just got back from three weeks vacation. Almost had to buy a boat to get back. Went to Missouri, it rained and then rained some more. Rained in Iowa, rained In South Dakota, Rained in Montana. Finally get back home to Oregon and everything back to normal, 82 degrees no rain. Mowed the yard, planted a late garden and worked in the shop sanding ornaments. No rain. grizz
  15. I live in a much smaller area than you do. Still you have to get your name in early to get a space. Actually the prices are not outrageous, I think the highest I have reserved for this year are around 90.00 a space and I reserve two to three 10x10 spaces. I just don't charge much for my crafts and need to raise it just a little bit. Everything seems to be going up. I sure like your display though. I also make wood puzzles and have not displayed them like you. I just have them in a large plastic tub. I think I need to get them out where they can see them individually. Hope your next events are great. grizz
  16. Fantastic work. Glad you had a good event. Unfortunately the art and craft shows seem to be charging a lot more for there spaces. I guess you just have to add it to the price you charge for your work. I think I will have to raise mine a bit this year to pay for entry fees. Again great job. Sure would like to see your work in person. grizz
  17. nice job. I can see why its one of your top sellers. grizz
  18. Great job on the stand. I wish my Seyco would have been easier to put on a table. The rails didn't fit right for the table method. By the time they made me a new set I had modified everything to have it on a stand. Its running pretty smooth and I hate to take it apart. Like Scrappile says those Pegas saws sure are pretty. If I had known they were coming out with one I would have waited. Enjoy your Pegas saw. Your thinking out of the box on making the setup for the table mount. I like it. grizz
  19. Nice saw, always nice to get new tools. I wish my shop was as clean as yours. Even after I clean it it's not that clean. Enjoy making sawdust with your new saw. grizz
  20. Very nice job Dave. Keep up the good work grizz
  21. Ray they the blade just started slipping out of the top and bottom. As the day wore on it got worse. My arm is parallel to the table. I was finding myself trying to compensate by tightening the thumb screws. Did not want to damage them so I quit until I got the new ones. Actually I had a new set of swivels for the EX they looked the same so I put them in. Fixed the problem. When I received the New Pegas swivels I installed them. everything works great. Like you I have to barely tighten the thumb screws to hold the blades. grizz.
  22. I purchased a set of Pegas blade clamps from QTE. The thumb screw swivels only lasted about three months and then would not hold a blade, I contacted QTE and they had not had any prior problems but sent me a set anyway. Put them in and have had no more issues and have quite a few hours on them. They are quite inexpensive so I keep a few sets on hand. I believe it was about five dollars for the top and bottom swivels. I hope you get your problem fixed. That is definitely where I would start. grizz
  23. looks like a surgeon could work in your shop. So Clean. Need a scoop shovel for mine after a couple days cutting LOL grizz
  24. great job Paul, How long did that take you. grizz
