  1. Welcome to the Village from Colorado. Jerry
  2. Thank you for sharing the video with us. Aso, you made it easy for us to pick you out telling us you were the one with the black swimsuit and black hat. I really liked the song you picked out for your routine. synchronized swimming is kinda like scrolling, if you make a mistake and don't tell anyone, "NO ONE KNOWS". Once again, CONGRATULATIONS! Jerry
  3. Who could have guessed. A synchronized swimmer. WHOA.!! I enjoy watching synchronized swimmers. Amazing what they do. Good luck in your competition. keep us informed. Jerry
  4. Looks great. Great idea using Steve Good's key chain pattern. Never thought of using that for nothing else other than a key chain. Folks here come up with some great ideas. Jerry
  5. When I first started scrolling I had a board that was identified as "Craft Board". Don't remember where I got it. It was about 6 inches wide and maybe two feet long. Looked very much like pine, but I don't think it was. Attached is a picture of the first project I did after I got tired of practicing. Jerry
  6. Here is the pattern I have. I think this is the pattern you are looking for. https://www.stevedgood.com/catalog/index.php Search "Wedding Couple" Jerry
  7. Nicely done Ralph. Jerry

  9. Thanks Tyler. Always learn from you. Today I learned "got to try segmentation". Thanks again, Jerry
  10. Wichita, I have used the hanger for drying fretwork cuttings but had an issue with different sizes sliding into each other. Never thought of cutting a notch into the hanger. Simple but brilliant idea. Thanks. Like most of us storage of clamps has always been an issue. Many ideas on the web how to store them. I didn't want to take the time to make one. Thought it was just a bit waste of time. One day while shopping at Walmart I saw an old-fashioned current rod. For less than a dollar I picked on up that extends to 4 feet. Perfect for hanging clamps of all kinds, except the heavy ones. Maybe other villagers can post simple but useful solutions here. Jerry

  14. Nicely done. Jerry
  15. I was a computer programmer for 40 years and this stuff is way beyond me and have no desire to learn. Much rather sit at my scroll saw rather than the computer.
  16. Hi Dale, I'm your neighbor in Arvada. Not many folks from Colorado here. You are going to learn a lot from the folks here. I joined a little over 3 years ago and what I have learned here outweighs what I have learned researching related scroll saw information. As you start posting what you do, folks here like to see pictures. We do have a member from Broomfield. Your neighbor, Jerry
  17. Lucky you Judy. I look, but never have found wood working tools or wood. Just have to keep looking. Jerry
  18. If I were you Syd, I would keep if it is yours and not destroy it using it for a stand for your scroll saw. Just my opinion. Is the sewing machine still in it? Jerry
  19. WOW Marie, you do beautiful work. Jerry
  20. Paul, little girls never grow to old for music boxes. My wife collected music boxes for years. I wish I would have learned to use the scroll saw years ago. I would have made her one and I know it would be her most cherished music box. If I were you Paul, I would finish it for that little girl. It would be cherished. Jerry
  21. WOW Ralph, they really look nice when finished. Really like the little birds. Have to get some of that material that Denny has posted. I usually tie a narrow ribbon to mine. Jerry
  22. Welcome to the Village from Colorado. If you want to learn, you have come to the right place. Jerry
  23. Not damaged, just my feelings.
  24. I wasn't here 8 years ago, sure wish I were. Would have saved a blood blister. Jerry
  25. Hey Ray, I tried your tip. It works. Thanks, Jerry
