Took your advice Wichita, made a trip to Harbor Freight. The first employee sent me to the wrong area. Chased down a second employee and asked him for a height adjustable tool stand. Told me there where no such tool stand. Told him it was on the web site. He took a peek and when to another area but told me the one there was not adjustable. I looked at the box and it said it was adjustable. I told him his day was not wasted because he learned something new. Brought it home and assembled it. Lot easier to assemble if you have a helper. Thanks for the tip Wichita. Attached is a picture.

Thanks RJ. That is a Air Force cargo airplane, C-124 Globemaster. I was a navigator in this plane. The engines look like jet engines, but this was a propeller driven plane. I flew in this airplane '64-68 jerry

I have not tried spiral blades, thought about it, just haven't done it. For veining I will usually drill a small pilot hole somewhere in the middle of the vien rather than on either end. I will then do my feathering in the middle. I used this procedure before I knew there was such a thing as spiral blades. See photo.

My Christmas and birthday present to myself was a router table and router. After getting it assembled and placing it on a workbench it seems too high to operate it safely. I would like to know what some of you have done to perform routing procedures safely. I thought of placing the router table on a black and decker workmate with the legs folded. That would place the top of the router table at 37 ½ inches high which seems to be the right height for me. I’m a bit height challenged standing about 5’ 6”, shrunk some since my high school days. I’ve looked for tool stands that I could place my router table on, but to no avail. Suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank You, Jerry

Watching a video by Tyler @artisanpirate where he made a candle holder I had to try it. Many time he closes his video with "If I can do it, you can do it". So I gave it a try. Came out pretty good, but the leaves are fragile. Broke two of them, one when gluing it, the other when staining. Fortunately you can't see where I repaired the breaks. Made this with pine, stained with Minwax gunstock. The second is a small clock with shelves from a pattern book I had by Diana Thompson, Compound Scroll Saw Creations. All the clock patterns call for small clock inserts which I could not find anywhere, so using inkscape I increased the size of the pattern to accept the 1 7/16-inch clock inserts. This was made with poplar and stained Minwax cherry. I'm pleased with both. Jerry

Thank you for sharing the video with us. Aso, you made it easy for us to pick you out telling us you were the one with the black swimsuit and black hat. I really liked the song you picked out for your routine. synchronized swimming is kinda like scrolling, if you make a mistake and don't tell anyone, "NO ONE KNOWS". Once again, CONGRATULATIONS! Jerry

When I first started scrolling I had a board that was identified as "Craft Board". Don't remember where I got it. It was about 6 inches wide and maybe two feet long. Looked very much like pine, but I don't think it was. Attached is a picture of the first project I did after I got tired of practicing. Jerry
