I just made this for an unbeliveable lady who attends our weekly BINGO games.  Our BINGO games are a fundraiser for the local Franciscan Friary and this amazing lady attends every week, because in spite of her trials, she belives that she should support the Friars.  I will present this to her tomorrow and I hope it will make her day just a little bit happier.

I love what you are doing. It is so wonderful when someone sees another being faithful to help a need and then to give her something special as a thank you for caring so much. Very honorable of you. I love it when people reach out like you did.

So much TALENT.  All these pieces are very inspiring and some make me try to go to the next step.  Thank you all for sharing your amazing work!!!

Kris, I really like what you did with the old pickup truck, is that a one dimensionable or stacked piece???

Rick

I agree, I have been greatly inspired to branch out and try new things since I began my participation here in the Village about 7 years ago. Thanks to the Village, I have dabbled in lots of different types of projects with my saw and I am always in awe and inspired by all the quality projects I see here.

Second, to ensure that someone sees your post with a particular question to them, its always good to add an @ in front of their user name so they get a notification that they have been tagged in a thread and can then go see it.  So, to ensure that Kris sees your question you would do an @Kris Martinson this shows he was "tagged" and will get a notification of it.

All are very well done but the one I personally enjoyed the most was your snowman. It is so cute and your color choices are so outstanding. You do very nice work. I will be looking forward to more things you have made in the future

Thanks Dick!  I very much appreciate that!  I picked the colors of the snowman,, but the wife did the painting.  I do not like to paint.

Fat Fendered Toy Car

Made from a pine 2x4 and hand-painted with a brush and pink acrylic paint. The wheels are finished with amber shellac.

Hot Rod Pink!  I think it was you last year that put my onto the plans for the Fat Fendered Freaky Fords.  You also told me where to buy the wheels and axels.  I bought some but I am about out.  I can't remember where I bought them from.  Can you give the link again?
