  5. I got this one mailed to me and thought some of you might like to take a peek, especially the newbies that might be looking a nice collection of things to cut. The offer is for a 4 gig wooden flash drive loaded with over 220 scroll patterns.. These are not a bunch of weak patterns but instead these contain patterns you might expect to pay up to $20 a pattern. However this offer has a lot of single patterns as well as this pattern packed flash drive, should you elect for something else. I have included one of their free patterns so you can get an idea of the quality they are offering here. you just go on their page and click on the packaged offers and the first one that come up is the one I am telling you all about. Oh, by the way. when you order the free patterns or any individual patterns you can download them in a couple of minutes and start cutting them in minutes The link to this sight is www.scrollsaw.com Dick heppnerguy

  11. So glad the problem was so minor and you were able to solve it. I suspected right away the problem was as you mentioned. Knowing it was a #1 blade that it was happening to, would have made me even more convinced of that. However I really enjoy hotshot's answer as he seems to be on top of things and has an amazing knowledge that often brings out the answer to others questions. He also seems to always be there with not just one possibility but, like in this case, several. I for one, am really glad we have him in our family to help us with situations that might otherwise stump us. Dick heppnerguy
  12. Well, I consider you an artist. I understand your thoughts about drawing things from nothing but you just have an artistic eye and talent to achieve really great pieces. So that is indeed art no matter how you look at it. You are amazing. Dick heppnerguy

  14. There you go again, Dave. Not only are you an excellent cutter but also great with patterns. As I struggle trying to figure pattern making out, you knock them out with ease. it just goes to prove that some people are artist like you and others are 'crafter want a be's' like me..Wonderful work as always.. Dick heppnerguy
  15. Nice cuttings.. both are very well done,, thanks for posting them Dick heppnerguy
  16. Nice when things go unexpectedly to your favor.. When it makes you happy, it sells you on the company and the service. It does not get better than that Dick heppnerguy
  17. Peter, you make what seems a simple pattern and turn out marvelous pieces with them. I guess it is just your outstanding abilities that always come through for you Dick heppnerguy

  19. Even if you possibly do not win the big prize you might sell some scroll saws for the company sponsoring the contest Dick heppnerguy

  21. Great idea and really fine pieces. Thanks for sharing your little struggle that will surely help others should they also wish to craft some of their own DicK heppnerguy
  22. You have a fairly large amount of wood being supported by a very small amount of wood left to do the job of holding this together. Even if it had not broken while cutting, it most likely would in transit. My suggestion might be to NOT worry about the exactness of the smallest cut and stop a little early on it. Example in your piece would be to not make the cuts that are partially under the feet. No one would even notice it but the extra wood would be a great help in supporting the figure. Sometimes making small changes in a pattern is a good idea. Dick heppnerguy
  23. So much fun to discover you have a Hidden talent that benefits so many that you know, usually starting with your family members and quickly multiplies to people you may not even know yet. Great pieces. I bet you do a craft sale some time this year Dick heppnerguy
  24. Great signs for anyone when they reach this wonderful times in their lives. Steve Good has an amazing sense for what makes another great pattern. You truly honored him with these Dick heppnerguy
  25. I cut this same pattern for a wedding gift and because it was so large I had to wrap it in a vacuum cleaner box. She loves hers. Sorry you had the problem with the BB ply you bought. You might try Sloans on line. They have a good quality item and are very friendly people. Dick heppnerguy
