  4. Well Don, I'm sorry you didn't get the responses you were looking for. Maybe you should of asked more specific questions! several folks took time to reply, myself included. Up to the time you made this reply you hadn't responded or even offered any likes to the responses.

  8. Nice work Mimi!
  9. Fantastic cut!
  10. Defiantly use 1/4" Baltic Birch plywood. Don't know why you would need a backer board. If you don't have any puzzle blades, use 2/0 skip tooth blades. Flying Dutchman puzzle blades are 3/0 skip tooth. You want to use as thin a blade as possible for a tight fit. I have never used a pattern for Jigsaw puzzles. I took a scrap piece of 1/4" BB and just started cutting till I got the hang of cutting the puzzle pieces. My avatar is my first puzzle!

    Beautiful work Marg!
  15. Well Ray, if you are concerned about your tension, then it is definitely not tight enough. I always tighten my tension as high as I can get it no matter what blade or thickness of wood.

  20. I used to be a member of a very large general woodworking club. But after fifteen years, I got burned out. It's been three year now, and I'm still not eager to go back.
  21. Beautiful work Dave!
  22. Be aware that most turning square's or turning stock are air dried. This means that what you receive may not be dry. And most turning square's are cut using a band saw and usually are not perfectly square which make cutting difficult. i would look for kiln dried furniture squares.
  23. Nice work Terry! I think Steve Good has some stand patterns on his site.
