Barb, does the unit have a remote control? If so, chances are it uses the same frequency as someone else’s garage door opener or remote control. Check and see if you can change frequencies on your unit.
You did a great job on your first scroll saw project Susan! What woods did you use? It appears you used a hardwood for the Owl, or at least a hardwood veneer plywood. Using any oil based finish such as lacquer or polyurethane will bring out the natural color of the wood. If you use a water based finish, it will not change the wood.
Hey Rob, welcome to the Village! I’m in Moorpark, Ventura Co. We have a member, Ray @octoolguy who lives in Huntington Beach, not to far from you. Everyone here is willing to help out when you have questions. Fell free to ask away!
Hey Brenda, glad to see that you are back on the saw. I did see your Pegasus and it does look great! I can see how it could be mistaken for a template. Just take it as a compliment and move on.
Ray @octoolguy, I get so tired of you ragging on this great state, I’m getting to the point that I don’t want to read anything you post anymore! Can’t you just keep it out of the Village?
That is what I use too. I use a tooth pick to apply in the very small areas and direct from the nozzle for larger areas. It’s best to clean up any squeeze out before it dries. It does dry clear, but will show if it’s a lot. I use a clean tooth pick to clean up any squeeze out.
