  2. That’s a great looking toy Bob! I’m glad your Grand son loves it! Hopefully, it will become an heirloom.
  3. Beautiful work Ralph!
  4. White board is what Home Depot and Lowe’s sells. It could be Pine, Spruce or Douglas fir. What ever fills the Bill. Very nice cutting!
  5. so, was that AM or FM?
  6. Cool!

Nice little stash box Karl! What woods did you use, the box looks like Walnut to me.
  11. That is a hunk of wood!!! If you need a sample of Mahogany to compare once you clean it up, let me know. I’ll send you a small piece. I have some genuine Honduran Mahogany.
  12. Very nice David! Tell us about it.
  13. Not boring at all Frank. It’s great that you were able to fix the dust collector out of your work space. Nice job and nice saw! I have a Pegas on order.

Welcome to the Village John! Scrolling indeed is a fun hobby. It will be frustrating at first, but I’m sure you will get the hang of it. You will have lots of questions, so come back often. What saw was ordered?
  15. Great looking work Barb!
  16. Nice!
  17. Very cool Jay! I am a fan of using hardwoods instead of BB, so these are very appealing to me!
  18. I wouldn’t even consider cutting glass on a scroll saw. First, you would have to use water to lubricate the blade. Then, all that glass slurry would accumulate in the bearings and just destroy them!
  19. Looks good Andrew. She is sure to love it!
  20. Any pictures?
  21. You did a nice job on it Ken. I agree, it would’ve looked nicer in a hardwood. Steve Good creates nice patterns, but sometimes doesn’t realize how fragile some designs will be.
  22. Nice work Ken!

Beautiful work Ken, you did an excellent job cutting it! Patrick Spielman was a great instructor. I learned a lot from his books way before the internet. His legacy still lives on in work like yours! Congratulations on the new saw. You now own two premium saws!
  24. I just can’t see this working as each and every blade cuts differently. It requires the user to compensate for the blades deficiencies. Not to mention different brands and different sizes of blades.
  25. Very nice work Ken, it look great!
