if you are talking about the segmented tube that blows the saw dust, it pops on but you do need either a special pair of pliers, or heat it up, push it on. I used a heat gun but some say boiling water

It amazes me that the starter saws come with a built in light, but pay more for a higher end saw, and no joy this one also has a take-off for the flex shaft from a dremel https://www.micromark.com/16-Inch-Scroll-Saw-with-Flexible-Shaft-Attachment 32 pounds, someone on here was looking for a light weight portable saw

With V-day on the horizon, I decided to try one of Alex Fox's patterns. I know from experience what looks good in a pic or video often looks different when I get done with it. 1/8" BB on the left is cut and stacked, on the right is some Sedona Red stain, and finished

From what I read on the pegas saw, the only difference is the blade clamps and the name on the side

I like it too anyone else notice that in the video, the blade cuts with zero dust on top of the pattern? Must be a really good blower out of view, or I need to know what blade that is.

On craigs list if you set up an account, its free, you can enter an alert with key words, as soon as something posts with that word you get an email. I set one up for "scroll saw", got several emails, finally one was for an ex21, called immediately and it was mine.

Just below the motor shaft in the second video, on the yellow body flange it appears to have metal flakes If that is metal flakes, something in the drive assembly is disintegrating, usually a bearing, but I do not have a dewalt so I am guessing

as an update the Wen mounted in Dremels' plunge router is a dream IMO. So easy and precise, especially compared to my HF drill press

Thanks for that, I think I will look into them too. Still on my first cup of coffee, but when I looked at the first picture, I wondered why hearing protection needed a microphone ROFL, the slot and blade hole of the saw table threw me

Great cutting. I keep a scrap of wood nearby, and when I insert a new blade I make an inch long cut in it before returning to the work piece, seems to help me with that initial aggressiveness you mentioned

After Santa came and left behind a Dremel plunge router attachment, I was faced with a dilemma. I could use my one and only Dremel, changing bits as needed for the plunge router, or get another and dedicate it to the plunge router. Holy molly, around $50! Someone earlier mentioned the Wen rotary tool. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003BYRFH8/?coliid=IAGQ2KABSQQ6D&colid=3FFU56ZXONLUZ&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it $20.32 (presently) Even though some of the comments/reviews say it does not fit all Dremel accessories, I took a gamble and ordered it. It works in the Dremel plunge router attachment, not sure about other attachments. It is quieter than my Dremel too. The only draw back is the collects that come with it, the tiny one you need for the small bits (3/64th, etc) is not included, but luckily I had one anyway. If you need another Dremel type rotary tool consider the Wen, it is working well for me.
