  1. I have long said the art will find the wood. I had a piece in the shed for a couple of years that was always in the back of my mind. A certain motorcycle pattern was posted and immediately I thought of the special plank. Really great work on this. The sapwood and knots fell right into your wheelhouse.
  2. Fifty-four is quite an accomplishment. Congrats all around. (And the cuttings are great)
  3. Becky calls that "the intra-uterine tracking device". Works on stuff I lose, but never works on her glasses, etc.
  4. Great work. I may have to go back to making a few from time to time. Don, the pattern is from Diana Thompson. It is about five years old. Maybe @Denny Knappen will check in with the exact location of the patterns.
  5. Right up there with Titanium. (Just less shiny)
  6. That is going to be a treasured gift.
  7. Very nice looking piece. Shooting it illuminated really makes it pop.
  8. Amazing the records these two set lasted as long as they did. Great pattern.
  9. One solution to events closing--YARD SALE!
  10. A Gamecock cutting a 'Bama item. Let's hope it was commissioned so the football gods don't strike you down!
  11. Check the rating label on the back of the device. Should be one there-even if it is fake UL approval.
  12. Simple little project. Still hoping to get to Arizona late this month to see my daughter. These have 1/4" rare earth magnets countersink on the back so they will stick to the fridge. I have quarters coming for the empties.
  13. Now that you have changed the orientation on your system, make sure the blades are going in right also!
  14. Never done any purple heart thicker than 3/8",but for me, Brazilian Cherry is like cutting steel.
  15. I am in awe of your ability to stay on task (and the products of that concentration).
  16. Great idea, but most saws and these strips don't play well together. Tried them years ago on my original Delta, but the holders at top and bottom too big for most fretwork. Second most useless thing I ever bought for scrolling. (#1 was a big tube of blade lubricant. Probably good for band saws.)
  17. That's going to be a masterpiece. (If it doesn't drive you crazy first)
  18. Great job on the pattern and a better job on the execution. Give yourself a BIG pat on the back for this one.
  19. Very good cutting on a great piece of wood.
  20. On the old SSW magazine board, we used to have a Monday night chat. Even though it was the middle of the night, we would get some European visitors and the folks in Australia and New Zeland would chime in after their breakfasts. Monday was general chat, but I think the intarsia folks tried one on another night.
  21. Can hear the howl from here.
  22. Love listening to the original Certified Guitar Picker. Most people do not realize how many careers he started when he was at RCA Nashville.
  23. Because the rock listens?
  24. 64 here Friday morning and snow flurries this morning. If the virus doesn't get us, the weather will.
  25. Just bought the regular Dewalt clamps. Just like the factory, but red and solid.
