  1. John I can't even get logged in. There are ads on top of ads. If I remember right I just right clicked on the picture I wanted then I went to IMUR and clicked "Add Images" then paste it to where it says to. On IMUR you need to resize your pictures if you want to post them to a forum. I use 640X480. That way they will not be to small or to large. I only have a few pictures on Photo Bucket so I guess I lost them. Oh well!!!
  2. John I use a hosting site called "IMUR". They have no fees and ads and is easy to use. I left Photo Bucket a long time ago. I got so tired of them.
  3. Randy I set you a PM this mourning but it's different on this forum than others I have used. If you don't get it let me know. Thanks;
  4. Jim I have been using the Mac Mop and really like them. I use the 240 grit the most. http://www.woodworkingshop.com/product/mm07103/?inMed=GSTORE&dfw_tracker=18711-7848&gclid=Cj0KEQjwy4zLBRCOg6-4h6vs3cUBEiQAN-yzfn5Qz-uJ5OBsU1ERXE0_peFR17DiOz5aFRCvt1v7WdAaAsBN8P8HAQ
  5. Jeremy on the low side I would get the DW788 but I really try and do better. I have an Excaliber 16 it's a pretty nice saw but if you wanted only buy one saw that would last the rest of your life get one of the new RBI Hawks. Do some research.
  6. William it might have to do with which handed you are. I am left handed and when I can I start on the right side and go to the left. It's just what a person wants to do in my opinion. You have some really nice stuff on your Etsy shop but in my opinion they are worth a lot more than you are asking. I don't sell anything so I guess am am cheaper than you.
  7. Randy I think I have found the problem and it was me. ((I know you can't believe it.)) I am tightening the the blade clamp to tight. I would how ever like to learn how to tune my saw. I have always thought that my saw could do better. I am sure it's not rocket science it's just knowing how.
  8. John I have an EX16.
  9. Randy I cleaned everything out and reset the allen head screw so we will see.
  10. Wayne I am not much on hockey but I think it is. I took off the table so I could see and reset the allen head button. So the Loc-tite is drying now.
  11. I agree Berry.
  12. Wayne I know what you are talking about but the blade isn't bending that way. If you look at the picture the blade is laying flat on it's side. Correct me if my thinking is wrong. I still have a lot to learn.
  13. I have been getting some bent blade ends on my lower blade clamp. I am pretty sure it's not been like this from the start. I am like a cat fish (bottom feeder) so the the lower clamp isn't used near as much as the upper and the saw is about 6 or 7 months old. Here is a picture of my problem so maybe you guys can understand better what is going on.
  14. Pete that is a nice set up and well thought out.
  15. But for how long.
  16. I posted about this on the Router Forum. I had not heard of them before now but I think I might be interested in trying them. I can see where they could be used in some scroll saw work but I admit not much. Maybe like in stack cutting. Just pin them together and start cutting. No worry about ruining your blade. I am sure there are more ways to use these. There are a few links on the Router Forum that will tell you more about them. http://www.routerforums.com/tools-woodworking/116434-composite-brad-nails.html
  17. What bothers me is the noise a shop vac makes at the end of the hose at the point of dust going into the hose. It's so loud and shrill. I would like to see some pictures of what you guys are doing with dust collection on your saws. I am always interested in a better way. Here is what I do. It's not perfect. I added this box underneath later. Some one here suggested I do it. The metal strap connects to a rare earth magnet to hold the front of the box up.
  18. I believe you guys are scroll saw historians.
  19. Do you have to have an ink jet printer with that paper? My printer is a HP Pro 8600.
  20. This is a Steve Good pattern and I need your opinion on the best way to attach the American flag to the back of the pattern. The flag is copied from Steve's site and is computer paper. I have several different wood glues including some that dry clear but what I am concerned about is the paper buckling when the glue dries. As we say here in the south what do ""y-all"" think.
  21. Iggy is gonna have more money than Carter has "Little liver pills".
  22. I would think that in the right hands this fret saw would cut as good as any saw on the market but the better the saw the easier it is to use. https://www.amazon.com/Olson-SF63507-Fret-Flat-Frame/dp/B00MNF36Z6/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1499224931&sr=8-2&keywords=fret+saws
  23. You are making my head swell big time.
  24. Randy let me know about the classes. I might just have to come visit you.
  25. I have been wanting a Hawk saw but I don't enough about them to buy one used. There is so many models with updates. I am glad you were able to buy this saw. At least I know someone that got a good deal.
