His blog mentioned in leu of flowers, donations can be made.  Instead, I figured that I would buy the USB since I have always intended to buy it but never did.  I just tried to purchase the USB drive but when I went thru all of the clicks and filled out my info,, it doesn't allow to enter credit card info,, only a link to go to Paypal.  Any ideas?

I am so very sorry to hear this news.  I have used Steve's patterns in my scroll saw classes and have always enjoyed seeing his smiling face on so many of the downloaded patterns.  He was such a great and generous soul.  My heart just aches for you and your family.  My prayers are with you during this difficult time.  Marie

He helped us all to be the best we could be with his amazing patterns.  Both my husband and I have cut quite a few of his patterns and I have a few on my to do list to do before Christmas.  I hope they keep the site open just for the patterns it would be sad to lose those as well..   RIP Steve, we will miss you.

I have been working on the shelf project from the flash drive I purchased. I will post a picture when finished, Steve Good left a memorial gift for all of us to enjoy, that's what I will remember as I enjoy his patterns, I find enjoyment on putting my own thoughts on his patterns. I hope this doesn't undermine his talents.

Like most everyone else around here, I started with Steve's patterns.  He lived and worked here in Lexington until just a few years ago and was just a few miles from my house.  Sadly, I never got the chance to meet him in person.

Steve truley was an icon in the scroll saw universe.  He will be missed.

I meant Steve at a wood show in Dayton Ohio. He was exactly the same man that he appeared to be on his blog!  Some people get big heads and make you feel like they’re doing you a big favor just to look at you. Not Steve, we talked an couldn’t ask for a nicer person. Been following him so long I truly feel I have lost a good friend.

Not sure how many would get this reference but I equate Steve to be the Norm Abrams of scrollsawing as Norm is well known in the woodworking world that introduced us to the tool world as well as the make your own projects world. I put them both in that same class. I learned so much from watching Norm's shows over the years and he too was one of the nicest people when you meet him at shows. People like this are valuable assets to their fields. Steve's legacy will live on. As we older scrollers slowly pass on, hopefully a new generation carrys the torch and with it the legacy. RIP Steve.
