Just finished one of Charles Hand's newer patterns.  Cut in 1/4" Oak, measures a little over 10" x 11.5".   I soaked it in Wadco clear, than sprayed 5 or 6 coats of "ProLux" semi-gloss.

Thanks.  I do not keep track of the time.  I can only scroll for short period and I have to get up and move around.  I did this over a several weeks and I was working on another project at the same time.  If I guess I would say around 16 hours total. I am a very slow cutter also.
