  2. I have a 4' belt sander with a disc on the side ( Harbor Freight) and 3 mouse sanders. that is it. i have a small shop and I don't have room for a bunch of sanders. They all would be nice, but to me they are not worth the room that occupancy IKE.
  3. i had similar problem with my DW 788 if it wasn't breaking the blade it was slipping. I went to the repair shop and bought a new clamping screw and it cured the problem. IKE

  14. I tried all of the above-with no luck. I have a back up saw so I am not without a saw. I took it to the repair shop and they wer not sure what it is so it will cost me $36 to $260 It will be in the shop 2 to 4 weeks. I think those are the same as anything they work on.. I still have that much left from my last craft show I am O. IKE.
  15. some of the time I can get the motor running but when I start to cut It stops and then it won't start again. I opened it and it all looked good.I took a screwdriver and turned the motor over and it was free no hang ups. If i take it to the repair shop the bill will be between #35 and $250. the motor and the current board are $250 That's 1/2 the price of a new saw. IKE
  16. My DW 788 stooped running. I was cutting 3/4 popular and doing fine then the saw stopped add then started back up thought it might be dust so I blew out every thing it ran for about 1 minute stooped then started again the stooped again for the last time. I checked the switch , fuse, and brushes all were good. I am afraid that it is the motor or the mother board. any ideas out there. IKE

  23. I use olson's blades mostly match 33 & #5 They give me a smoother cut with less sanding than FD on puzzles I use #5 & #3 and on Thick cuts I use a #7. I like Olsons best because I don't like sanding. IKE

I am not trying to get into IGGY'S space but if you want to try this go to scrolleronlinelcom and search Dog Puzzles they have 2 projects on dog patterns 12 different Dog patterns sets of 10 patterns if I remember right it's 8 dogs and 2 other patterns for $12.95 each. That's what I did and them I ordered more from the woodenteddy bear. Now you have IGGY to order from. Just trying to save money . I do appreciate what IGGY is doing. Thank you IGGY. IKE
