  1. I too use some of Steve Good's patterns from time to time and I am always amazed how he can come up with so many ideas for patterns, consistently. When I sell of couple of projects from his patterns, I send him a donation, as i am making money off his patterns so it feels like the right thing to do. Sad to hear what he is going through right now. He is probably one of the biggest helps in the scroll saw field there is. I sure hope he comes through this health problem. It sounds very serious. I was surprised when I opened your project, expecting some highly detailed piece and finding this cute little easy pattern from you. It is nice to know that even you sometimes take a break and do one just for a quick and relaxing time for yourself. Dick heppnerguy
  2. good job. Pushing yourself into more detailed projects is where one finds out where they really are in their progress. You are doing quite well. Nice work here. Dick heppnerguy
  3. You certainly got into intarsia. Another very nice project completed by you. Love seeing what you are doing now. Dick heppnerguy
  4. Love that particular cross. Very well done on both of them. I am still looking for a pattern to that cross as I would love to cut one for my wall. Dick heppnerguy

  6. Very nice projects. Keep up the good work and keep posting them for the rest of us to enjoy as well Dick heppnerguy
  7. I love that you do this unique work that I have not seen anyone else do. As you may remember, I bought the magazine issue you got the idea from and gave it a try. If I would have kept at it perhaps I would be doing some myself by now. Dick heppnerguy
  8. fun projects. Enjoyed viewing them. They are very unique and interesting Dick heppnerguy
  9. Well worth the come back to finish it. Quite interesting and decorative project. Dick heppnerguy
  10. Thanks for posting another of your fabulous projects. I always look forward to looking at your projects. Dick heppnerguy
  11. Copy this link I am posting and scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see where you can download a scroll saw key change making program. Right after that, there is a like to the video that explains how to use the program. I think you will find it very simple to use and also fun to do https://scrollsawworkshop.blogspot.com/ Dick heppnerguy
  12. I too have a mini split AC but with a double car garage, it really doesn't do that well either. Lucky for us we do not have humidity here but the temperatures are among or topping temperatures anywhere else. Our tempts were up to 118, which is too hot for anyone. Just happy I am not a roof worker or any other outside job. I stay in air conditioning as much as I can. Even white cars are too hot to touch. Dick heppnerguy
  13. You have come a long way since you started and have made quite the name and recognition for yourself. Keep up the fun and great videos. Dick heppnerguy
  14. Wow, you knocked this one out or the park. Quite unique and very well made Dick heppnerguy
  15. Truly you are an amazing scroll saw artist. Always enjoy seeing you win one more challenge. Dick heppnerguy
  16. SO CUTE. NICELY MADE TOO Dick heppnerguy
  17. She has been riding horses since she was 2 years old and started barrel racing at 4 1/2 years old. She rides her own horses with her family as they tend their cows or just ride for pleasure. She is truly an amazing little girl. Her mother is the same way, she started riding at a very young age too. Dick heppnerguy
  18. I have more recently decided to make frames for the majority of my scrolling unless I think a particular project does not call for the need of one. Thank you for your nice comment Dick heppnerguy
  19. Thank you all for all your help. I will give some of these a try and see it they help me get the results I am after
  20. Thank you for your input . I will have to get back to you with a couple of questions, later Dick heppnerguy
  21. Because I would like it to be a little more spreadable and not so thick. I have found that when I paint on the finish it doesn't blend so well between the brush strokes. I have seen many times where people do thin out their finishes and I thought that might help me too Dick heppnerguy
  22. I am looking for someone that dilutes their finishes before applying them to a project. What do you use to do this and to what proportions. I appreciate any help I can get with this Dick heppnerguy
  23. It looks like your wife's parents also knew what they were doing, and no heat gun was used on her. Dick heppnerguy
  24. Wow....VERY INTERESTING INDEED. As I was looking through your photos I was wondering if you would have to heat the pipe in order to bet the bends for your animals. Is this something that you just came up with yourself or did you see someone else making them and decide to give it a try. They all are very unique and fun pieces. Thank you so much for showing them to me. They are too fun indeed. Dick heppnerguy
  25. Actually it is really not for her but she wants it so she can give it to a friend of hers. So once again, I do hope she likes it enough that she will not be unhappy with it and still think it is good enough to gift it. I enjoy you fun reply though, Thank you so much Dick heppnerguy
