  2. I feel your pain when conducting searches. Amazon is one of worst i have came across. I was searching for "Children's Ride on Toys" bugger me if that never opened up a quagmire" Evry thing from $2.00 plastic car to a $2000 + electric vehicle
  3. Finished this to take along to the Mother's Day Markets on Sunday. Made from Oregon (I believe you blokes call it Douglas Fir). Red felt inner lid liner and bottom liner 140mm sq and 100mm high
  4. I had these two VW's I made quite a while ago, and decided they needed something extra to take to markets so a couple Tear Drop caravans became the order of the day. The complete unit measures about 330mm in length.
  5. That'll keep you out of trouble for a while Ray.
  6. Nice box Frank. I want to make a gift for a person, leaving work and a cube box similar to yours may be just the ticket. I have not made one yet, I usually make mine to fit the rectangular boxes.
  7. G'day Ray, I have noticed it myself of late. I haven't had much new to post, in the way of projects, for awhile, but I do try and comment on articles and others projects. occasionally I'll throw my hat in the Coffee House or have a laugh at some of the articles. I try hard not to comment on questions etc which others have answered in the same way I would.
  8. A nice looking box. Well done. I have found that tissue boxes are very popular because, not only can they be decorative, but they serve a purpose.
  9. The Munsters along with The Adam's Family. I think the Adams Family was more popular here. A great likeness of Herman
  10. Congratulations Eric. She look s like a beauty. to say I'm a little jealous would be an understatement. Have fun and enjoy. BTW, where did you get your saw from Eric, if you don't mind me asking.
  11. Nicely executed Frank. Will look great on the wife's desk
  12. Doesn't matter when they got cut, a good job is a good job.
  13. https://www.facebook.com/danielmiskoidea I found his facebook page. Perhaps a message may see things right. His web site does seem to be either down or behaving mysteriously.
  14. @Don Bedggood Don, Have a look at The Wooden Teddy Bear https://woodenteddybear.com/collections/all-blades I get all of my blades from the (Flying Dutchman and Olson). They take the time to package items in the most economical way for postage and their prices are excellent, with quite large further discounts if ordered by the gross. They are also super quick. The gross amount can be made up by mixing and matching brands, sizes and types of blades. Good Luck
  15. I was about to say the same thing Norm. I don't think I'll whinge about Aussie prices again. I probably will but .............................
  16. That is beautiful Charlie. There is no mistaking who it is and also no mistaking a very proud Granddad.
  17. G'day Don, In another scroll saw group that I belonged to, it had chat rooms and you could set a time and have interested or invited people on line at the same time to share ideas or just chat. I would of sworn that we had one here, but I can't find it. Maybe It's just as case of C.R.A.F.T.
  18. G'day Juan, If you have any type of writing programme on your computer, type out what you want , choose and enlarge the font , and print it out. Stick it to your project and cut. Notebook, Word, https://www.lifewire.com/free-word-processors-1356338 ABC abc
  19. @OCtoolguy Ray, I don't know how cold it gets where you hang your hat, but I very, very rarely have problems with CA (Super Glue) drying out. Perhaps because it is bloody hot here I usually purchase it from, what you blokes call a dollar store, Red dot etc, in 2g tubes on cards of up to 10 tubes. When I get them home, i bust them of the card and place them all in a screw top jar and just keep them in a cupboard in the shed. Part used I place next to the jar. Sometimes I have to cut the tip of a little because it has become blocked.
  20. For you Marg Sung by a Perth Band "The Magnificent 7" 14 Hey Dwight Yoakam.mp3
  21. I saw that pattern many years ago, I have a feeling it may of been in Scroll saw and Woodworks magazine.
  22. Nice stuff Joe. I used to quite well with the "Switch Sitters" I cut cats in various poses so they could sit on the light switches and bagged them up in lots of 3 and five various ones. I painted them all black. Hope you do well.
  23. Nice piece and one of my very favourite songs
  24. It's a real bugger the prices going up as they are. In WA I purchase 4 mm A/B or A/C grade Hoop Pine. 2400mm x 1200mm at about $90 a sheet, not including transport as I can not get it in Kalgoorlie, it has to be transported 600km The last time I purchased 2 sheets it cost $45 for delivery. so it works out at about $2.82 per A4 sized piece
