  1. I have your information saved for future reference.. Thank you for your help Dick heppnerguy
  2. That was not my problem here. It seemed it had to do with the format I saved the photo with. I think I have it figured out not, if I don't forget Dick heppnerguy
  3. I also used craft paper on mine. I usually do not do that but I thought the color was perfect. I sort of considered the pattern to be making it's own frame so left it as it was. Thanks for posting yours. Dick heppnerguy
  4. Really? I found that I liked it a lot. Funny how people see things from different perspectives. So, your comment I found interesting and I am curious as to what you would have done differently. I usually use a black backer because of the contrast but being this is an out of doors picture, I thought a blue sky would be a better choice. Thanks for your comment though, as I view this kind of suggestion as something to consider in the future and they are very helpful from here on. Dick heppnerguy
  5. I have loved this pattern ever since I first saw it and after Brenda posted hers, it jogged my memory and I finally got around to cutting it. Thank you, Brenda for your help with this one. I actually stack cut it and have one more to figure out what exactly I am going to do with that one. Might put it on my garage wall or give it to a family member or friend. who knows. I cut this on 1/4 inch BB Ply and used my 'go to' blade,(#3R MG Pegas) for all of it. Dick heppnerguy
  6. my hands are clapping for you, with these two fabulously done projects. A great idea for the doctor too. My wife's doctor is a John Wayne fan so I cut him a plaque for his wall at home. Fun to give people some of your work, isn't it? Dick heppnerguy
  7. This type of sign making has become quite popular lately. Things sort of do that from time to time. I have also been considering making a sign in this manner but have not gotten around to doing it yet. Very nice sign, I can nothing in the suggestion line of thought, accept it is time to give another one a start. Dick heppnerguy
  8. What a nice friendly looking dog portrait. Well done. I would have to say it is perfect. Dick heppnerguy
  9. Great one. I really enjoy Sam's patterns too. I have cut several of his but none for awhile.. Dick heppnerguy
  10. You are one busy person. I like your snowman. He is a cute piece. I don't like doing the same thing over and over again neither. Dick heppnerguy
  11. I love the creativity here. It says a lot about this person without words being spoken. It will be a family heirloom, I am sure. Dick heppnerguy
  12. You are so talented and creative, Alex. I enjoy looking at all your new items when you post them. Dick heppnerguy
  13. I will copy you note above and put it in my 'how to' file on my hard drive Dick heppnerguy
  14. Thank you. I tried this without any success. It looked like they were just trying to get me to download other things that I do not want, so I will try some of the other suggestions, instead. I do appreciate your advice but I am not too computer literate and don't like DL ing things I am unsure about Dick heppnerguy
  15. I will go see if I can find it and download it and check it out. Thank you so much for the information. Dick heppnerguy
  16. that is a perfect way to display a lot of items in a smaller space, yet easy to see. Great idea Dick heppnerguy
  17. I understand this concept. I have found for what I am doing now, the #3R MG has worked for 1/4 in BB Ply as well as 3/4 woods for intarsia. Then with ultra small fret, one does need to use a spiral sometimes. Dick heppnerguy
  18. nice to find a blade that at least helps with this problem Dick heppnerguy
  19. sorry to hear that... it is not a pleasant thing to have to go through, for sure. Dick heppnerguy
  20. I have some images that I downloaded and they will not open my trace bit map in inkscape, some will. Does the image have to be in jpg in order for this to work? If so, how do I go about changing the format to jpg from something else? I have done this many times but I can not remember how. Must be the problem some have with age. Can someone help me with this one? Dick heppnerguy
  21. I like this one.. Might make one for myself. nice job on it Dick heppnerguy
  22. I find most custom pieces are the biggest time consumers because it is impossible to see what is in their minds and no matter how hard yo try to make it come out, it seems like it is just another, "I love that....but" and the changes never seem to stop. Dick heppnerguy
  23. A nice way to bring more pieces before the eye of the shopper without using a lot more space. Dick heppnerguy
  24. Nice assortment of word art. It looks like the Pegas blades are working well for you too. Dick heppnerguy
  25. Great idea on charities. We contribute often to several charities and I like your idea about it. Those are nice patterns as always seems to be your efforts. Dick heppnerguy
