  1. thank you so much Barb. It was a fun project and I will be looking for more paper cutting patterns as there are a lot of nice ones out there just waiting for me to try Dick heppnerguy
  2. I'm glad you liked the multicolored backer boards. I also think they at some eye appeal and interest to a project, especially when one is not an expert at painting them, like me. I don't believe I have seen you post on the jellyfish but I will be looking for it Dick heppnerguy
  3. thank you for taking your time to respond to my post with such a nice comment Dick heppnerguy
  4. thank you. It was fun and challenging for me, at the same time Dick heppnerguy
  5. There it is alright. I could not relocate it. I forgot where I had seen it. My capture was not nearly as sharp as was yours so I was not sure I could do it any justice at all. But that said I was somewhat pleased with the outcome. Thank you for your post Dick heppnerguy
  6. I do not have the colorization going too well but I do enjoy trying to add some interest in my backer boards by using multi colors there. Thank you for your nice comments. Dick heppnerguy
  7. It caught my eye because it had so much going on in it and just had to give it a go but then, after my wife saw the pattern I really did not have a choice in the matter, did I? Dick heppnerguy
  8. I don't know that it is a terrific job but I did find it rewarding to be able to even cut it. Dick heppnerguy
  9. I really do not see the beauty in it but I did see that it would be a bit of a challenge for me. I cut it with a #1 Pegas spiral. I am beginning to love the spiral blade more and more. Dick heppnerguy
  10. thank you Ron. A really nice comment from someone with your talent. I appreciate it a lot. Dick heppenrguy
  11. thank you so much Peter. I thought this sort of looked like it came from a 1950's Disney movie. but I was happy to cut it because it looked like it presented a bit of a challenge for me. Dick heppnerguy
  12. Thank you Marg. What a nice comment Dick heppnerguy
  13. I ran across this pattern, which by the way was not a scroll saw pattern, and liked it so much I printed it so my wife could look at it later that day. Immediately she said that she really liked it and wanted me to cut it. I told her that it was not a scroll saw pattern and it was not a really clear photo of it anyway. Well my wife usually gets her way, so I told her I would try to look it up again and see if I could get a clearer look at it, but I could not find it again, so I enlarged it and gave it a go. I was going to make a frame for it and make a rectangular background but she did not want one like that. So I made an extended background and painted it with three different colors, as I did. So this is how it came out. Reminds me of something from a kids story book about witches or something like that. Dick heppnerguy
  14. I love how the lights accent the beautifully done projects of yours. Keep up the good work. Hey, after Christmas is over, it is going to be quite difficult to put these decorations away for the year. Maybe you should save yourself that problem by making them all Christmas gifts for the family and friends. Dick heppnerguy
  15. your usual perfection. You do such nice work, my friend. I am always looking forward to a visit to your house and looking at your projects, both new and older. You never cease to amaze me with them Dick heppnerguy

  22. I can't imagine the other projects could be 'not good enough to post' as this one sure came out well. Dick heppnerguy

  24. Oh, that looks great. Dick heppnerguy
  25. as I said previously, I am almost never happy when I color my work and I did try again on a project I had painted before just to see if I could do any better. Here is the results....and this is an improvement over what it was like before this one, so maybe I can get the hang of it if I keep trying. I hope so, anyway. Dick heppnerguy
