  1. Aleene’s Turbo Tacky glue is a craft glue.
  2. The article was in Woodworkers Journal February 7, 2020. I did a search on her name.
  3. I use Aleene’s Turbo Tacky Glue. I haven’t had a problem.
  4. Do you have one of those fancy scroll bandsaws? Because WOW!
  5. This is cut from 1/4” Cherry with an 1/8” Baltic Birch backer. Both finished with natural Danish oil. It is a Sue Mey design.
  6. I found the patterns here at the village. Thanks to all the creative people here. I cut double stacks 1/8” Baltic Birch. Natural Danish oil finish, Repurposed frames.
  7. Wonderful explanation and beautiful finish!
  8. I bought a small picture frame the same size as a small clock. About 1 1/4” same place I got the clock
  9. Several years ago I made one of these. The hole is drilled slightly under sized so you can carefully thread the knob in to be perfectly straight. I use self adhesive sand paper on the base. This keeps the end flat and is quick to sand and get back to work until a renewal kit is needed.
  10. I am NOT trying to say anything about the poor quality of plywood now, (I know it’s bad). I have learned that when cutting feather tips that are very pointy, never finish the point coming out of the cut, it will break 99% of the time. I spin the blade and go down the side.
  11. The difference IS the metal used. Stronger, lighter.
  12. Looks like that was almond pretty cool!
  13. Some of her birdhouse and Christmas ornament patterns are in issues of Scroll Saw patterns and works magazine. She also has some pattern books available on Amazon. Her patterns are sometimes challenging (for me, at least).
  14. I am also going to use my hair blower instead!
  15. If you are not framing it, can you just leave a border on the background piece? (if I am understanding the result).
  16. I am also in NC, I don’t have a saw for sale but I do have a Dewalt 788 you can try. BTW There are a couple of scroll saw clubs, if you’re interested, let me know what part of NC and maybe I can point you in the right direction.
  17. Pegas and/or Flying Dutchman.
  18. That’s awesome!
  19. That is extremely beautiful!
  20. I use 1/8” BB double stacked for fine fretwork. I used to use it for backers as well (now I find less expensive options). I also liked using BB for Steve Goods wooden weaved boxes.
  21. I bought the Ridgid right after it came out! It’s been more than 15 years and is still going strong.
